Kcchongnz,
Thank you for the great financial analysis of these stocks leading to its intrinsic value. It's superb in the quality of analysis, very conservative in financial approach , very succinct and to the point and the current graham net net intrinsic value reflects current state of development in Iskandar region with small pockets of development in a very large land mass relative to Singapore.

Well ..if development in Iskandar does indeed gather pace in the future with the influx of new knowledge based industries and if Pengerang truly emerges and establishes itself as the Oil & Gas hub of ASEAN within the next 10 years which leads to growth in GDP per capita and disposable incomes I envisage that the current graham net net intrinsic values will form a bottom baseline value going forward...

In view of this it is worth a hold of these stocks as these 3 stocks will benefit from the eventual growth in GDP per capita and disposable incomes.

vinvin, Q3 financial report make RM46k(2 quarter in a roll making profit). NTA now 0.75 CASH rm18m+ number of share around 78m. this share undervalued, hope will move tomorrow or else have to wait another 2/3 months.this is a good share for medium/long term.understand that you intend to average on MUI,better save the money or you'll hold another few years on top of the 20 years.uncle, do slow down year end clearance sales coming already;be careful.

But, 66 cents a bit expensive since the ex-date just passed.
I'm waiting for below 60 cents.
As u mentioned before, I might can get a cheaper price during february or march sell down. =)

very very thin buy order...20 cents is around the corner ..yet i won't touch this 'aset'-centered counter...not performance-centered counter...dulu dia punya cash pun banyak..RM 200 juta pun pernah ada...apa jadi lepas tu? hilang...lu ingat directors banyak murah hati mau share itu duit? kirim salam...anjing kalau pernah makan taik...kalau dia cium taik saja pun..orang akan kata itu anjing makan taik...dulu dia punya cash lagi banyak pun takda bagi..sekalang only one fifth..dia mau bagi kah...apa dia punya logik? itu calvin celita cash payment for shareholder..tapi takda dlm record...just hear say...tak boleh pakai dan kalau betul pun tak de etika punya directors

Good Evening Fellow Investors at PM Corp Forum,

The First Stretch of PM Corp's Price Upsurge is Done.

The 2nd Phase Will Be By PM Corp's Own Fundamental. Those who wait for PMC to crash back will be disappointed. Market has taken notice of profit from Warehouse sale. There may be more surprises when PM Corp continue to let value surface by further disposal of Quoted & Unquoted Shares & Real Estate 0r Even Recovering loans lent out.

Next on the Agenda is a CASH PAY OUT.

As I have said before, "Found A Gold Mine?" Stick with it. Don't need to itch for other investments all the time.

. You see. For 6 years I slept soundly. Even if Dow Jones collapse 1,000 points. No worry. PM Corp Is A Rock Solid Company. I don't bother with watching Dow Jones. I know Tango 40g bars are flying off the shelves in Singapore supermarkets! Till the world ends. Men still can afford a 45 cents Tango.bar.

Good Night.

huangbk72, "I do hope they don't make the mistake of using " cheap sells well" strategy which will backfire spectacularly." Very true huangbk72,
because using a cheap price to capture mkt share is also using a double-edged sword. Established brands like, Cadbury, Nestle, Van Houten, etc. are not going to lie down n let PMC snatch their mkt share without a fight. And this may lead to a price war which may not benefit everybody, most of all PMC. Moreover U will need a big war chest of money to do this, N PMC needs to use its cash for production expansion - not fight a price war.

A better strategy would be to price slightly lower than competing products by, say, 3-5% the most. And promote consistently in supermkts every weekend (Fri n Sat) in M'sia n Spore over long stretches of at least 3 mths. Use sales promoters n get consumers to try the Tangoes, Tudor Gold, Crispy, etc. at all major supermkts every weekend.
This is to create brand awareness of the Tudor, Tango, Crispy choco brands in the minds of consumers. 3 in 1 Coffee Mfg are doing sales promotions in supermkts every weekend for months. Money is better spend this way than used to fight in a price war. Promote the health benefits of esp dark choco of Tudor.

I've been thinking over the much hyped talk about the Cap Reduction Payout Proposal for PMC. I would say that for the long term good of the group, it should not do the cash payout. It should keep its cash and focus on expanding choco mfg and selling and use the cash mainly for this productive purpose for the long term growth of the company. The cash payout may give the share price a temporary boost, only for short term, if not followed up with consistent future reasonable growth.

Yes, there should still be a Cap Reduction. But only to cancel Treasury shares of about 65M and worth about RM30M. And also to write-off a negative balance in the Reserves of about RM40M.
Maybe a dividend payout of 2 sens per share (yield = 7.3% at today's closing price), (totalling about RM14M) for a start would assuage the expectations of investors.

Calvintan has been preaching about a long-term horizon for this counter, with prices going towards RM1.50 and above in the future. This can only be achieved with a compound annual growth rate in the Top Line of 10% or so for the next 5 years at least. And cash would have to be used to achieve this.

Tudorians, we should go for long term steady gains, and not for short-term, temporary ,and elusive gains.

Mktwatch,
I took note of your concerns but I must give the benefit of the wisdom to the main shareholder of PMC and that is MUIIND....MUIIND as per Calvin's info owns 70% of PMC...If MUIIND decides that the best strategy to drive up value, top line growth and bottom line growth of PMC as well as the MUIIND group is to unlock the values in PMC then I see immense value and lots of wisdom in the strategy of UNLOCKING VALUES in PMC which will drive future performance in returns from capital.... the first step is return of capital to shareholders ......

In my view I see lots of wisdom in the chosen strategy of unlocking values as this strategy will be the catalyst that will drive up FUTURE performance in top line and bottom line of PMC and MUIIND group of companies...

tsurukame, I also believe that the Board should unlock values in PMC. But if the Board has got big future plans for the group, it should not distribute huge sums back to shareholders. A Board that does that means it has no future growth plans for the company that requires it to hoard cash for investing in high growth prospective businesses in the coming years. If U have big bus plans to boost the earnings of the company, and in turn boost its share value, then u would require to conserve cash n spend them on earnings creating investments rather than give them back to shareholders.
By all means, give some back to make shareholders happy. But not too much as to have to borrow again to expand the business. We are all aware of such strategies isn't it?

Mktwatch,
I will leave it to the MUIIND business leaders on the future growth strategies as they know best...we may think we know better but we may possibly not know ...I see lots of wisdom in returning capital to shareholders and I have confidence that once the return of capital is executed the whole group of companies including PMC will be focussed on driving UP performance to deliver RETURN FROM CAPITAL to shareholders ..

Tsurukame/mkwatch n huangbk72, thank you for your postings. Can learn so much! N so much knowledge being shared. The whole Mui group has start unlocking their assets. Recently Pmi sold a building for 60 million, Mui sold the insurance co for more than 100 million. Before selling the insurance co, Mui bought a piece of land from the ins co. This land is prime land along Jalan Ampang and it is next to a piece of property Mui owned .Another undervalued asset! Calvin, here you are- another prime asset for you to value n let us know how much it is worth. All above info from bursa announcement n annual report. Mui has more than 10 hotels in England. The one in London must be very valuable. Two caveat, one Mui owing 900 millions n no 2 their neglect of minority shareholders. If they can address both, I think the stock will move in only one direction.
