I could foresee Government to regulate Vape and E-Cigarette

Reduce tax on tobacco which will eventually result in higher tax revenue for LHDN.

BAT will be going to RM20 very soon

^ No logic, had declared $0.24 for latest quarter by company but estimated a lower dividend for coming quarter by you. I expect at least $0.24 if not, higher by a few more cents due to the lifting of certain restrictions during Covid lockdown.

Carlsberg makes 1/2 the profit of BAT and pays 1/2 the Dividend of BAT but market price is 22
Bat nosh is 286mil And Carlsberg is 306mil ( not much different )---I say BAT should price at 35

Sin Group, Heinkein and Carlsberg are both price at 23 & 22 with outstanding shares same as
BAT.....Both Beer Co. pay less dividend than BAT and lesser profit....

BAT disappointed a lot of dividend seeking institutions eg Lazard, EPF & Aberdeen who enthusiastically bought from $30-$74.40 but got flushed out from $33- $9 from 2018 to 2020.

Need new institutions who don't hold a grudge against BAT.

Really got nothing to say....But the real problem is Gov follows international standard by banning
smoking in public area that really killed BAT revenue ( also banning Advertisement and printing
on cig pack "horrible pix of Lungs cancer )....If you banned smoking in Cinema, Coffee Shop
and Shopping Complex, you cannot lit a Cig anywhere in work places

Will WindFall Tax affect BAT dividend payout 2022??

Current Corporate Tax is 25%
WindFall Tax is 24% (100mil) and 33% (Balance )

Estimate BAT net profit to be 400mil in 2022 ( 100mil / Qr)

1) Normal annual Tax is 100mil for 400m net profit
2) With WindFall Tax is 123mil for 400m net profit

Extra tax for windfall Tax is 23mil Or 5.75mil extra for Each Qr

This Qr BAT payout Dividend (26sens) is RM74,237,800------WindFall tax in 2022 is really
insignificant at 5.75mil extra

Windfall tax is only applicable for all sectors or certain sector? BAT is one of the unlucky companies. Am not sure why windfall tax should be applicable. Dont feel it is a right move
