my concern is Penta was "lucky" to get out at 0.70 and "keen to further invest in BJLand despite falling prices without support" currently. Has Penta "forced" VT to absorb BJLand then and is Penta "tipped" to buy BJLand now. Who's the ultimate beneficiary of Penta? Any relation to VT? I suppose these are not difficult to find out given what Bursa and SC are empowered with...

I think we must think Bjc side too mah....!!

If vt wants to give more bjland shares to bjc at reasonable price to increase its exposure to above 80%, it is a good idea too loh...!!

If minority wants to block...then they must complain to SC and Bursa that this is not fair to minority, as we should get the same offer too mah....!!

But VT knows, if he offer this deal to minority, it will be rejected by minority....thus it is a waste to offer such a low value deals to minority shareholder mah...!!

GO cost monies, it is likely VT will improve their offer to minority loh.....!!

So if we too kencheong to receive an offer from VT, then only solution to compel him to offer by getting SC to advice VT to give an offer now loh

Current offer price is telling us future offer price will be lower. We have to make sure VT MUST offer to take private Bjland now or not allowed to make an offer to Penta. It would be absurd if SC does not make sure an offer be made to ALL

There is 2 issue....!!

1. Let Penta offer deal go thru

2. Get the same offer of Penta to be extended to minority loh..!!

In item 1, it will go thru bcos willing buyer & willing seller, only if minority don complain to SC loh....!!

In item 2, It will fail bcos price rm 0.38 too low mah...!!

Lol...Update on BJCorp acquisition...once the offer of RM0.38 for each BJLand share goes through...it will trigger a MGO for minority shareholders at the same price as a prelude to Privatisation?

"Berjaya Corp Bhd (BCorp) is acquiring a 4.61% stake in Berjaya Land Bhd (BLand) for RM87.4 million or 38 sen per share.

The purchase price of 38 sen represents a 49% premium against BLand’s today closing price of 25.5 sen.
