crack spread pun kena tau hengyuan hedging berapa satu tong Brent..
kalau singapore senang kira sebab dia org freeflow minyak petro...kami malaysia kerajaan sudah ikat mati tak boleh jual ikut harga pasaran.walaupun kerajaan bagi subsidy tapi kerajaan tak akan subsidy jamin engkau boleh untung besar....untung sikit ada lah.

Oil will go up (war) but crack spread will go down

People cannot afford high petrol/diesel price..when price too high, will see demand destruction

Stagnant petrol/diesel price + high oil price = low crack spread

Everyone here are trying to make some money.
The crack spread is a public available information and everyone know the crack spread/refinery margin number which is now at about USD 30/barrel.

Many of us expecting Q1 earning for both Hengyuan and Petronm with crack spread of above USD 10+/barrel should be good (if not for derivatives loss) and if Q2 based on crack spread of above USD 20+/barrel earning ahould be explosive if no suprise of derivatives loss again.

As of can this crack spread able to stay at this level for how long?
My take is if sanction on Russia petroluem products continues it will stay more than a year.
