In term of FA Petronm is better than HY.
But in term of earning power at current record crack spread, HY should have a better earning due to its bigger capacity Refinery.
By the way it is still everyone guess what will be the q2 NPAT and beyond.

You see price been dropping from 6.40++. When it opened at 4.80, dipped to 4.56 n rebounded to close 4.75 which is 21 cents away from 4.56 n only 5 cents away fr 4.80, what you see on its stock chart is a bullish hammer candle. This candle tells you a million stories when it occured after 1.80++ downtrend. That is for those in the know. Not for the naive, stubborn n stuppeeeed.

This stock moved due to commodities breakout and must set aside fundamental for the time being. It shouldn't be the benchmark. HY will realize every single profit as per the crack spread just that due its hedging methodology , its PAT reported is delayed by a month

imagine if it did not hedge both refined and crude at the same time, its earnings will be significantly distorted when oil price drop drastically as we are seeing now
