Ytl hold most of Ytlp warrant which is going to expire next year. Ytl need to exercise its stake to at least maintenance its stake in Ytlp. Hence, expect Ytl still need to rely on Ytlp dividend payout to reward Ytl shareholder.

Based on histocial share price, Ytl share price have most of the time higher than Ytlp share price.

It is therefore a rare opportunity now to see both share price trading at same level.

Not only glut in cement market... also glut in unable to secure another long term concession power plant contract in Malaysia + EPF keeps selling to show the signs that YTL is not supporting by the government anymore... Yes is a failure overall... can't even compete with Umobile.... The only reason I still buy YTL at lower price to eye on more privatisation of YTLLAND & YTLP only...

my plan is if dividend ok, i'll keep, if price go down due to very bad div, then I'll buy more. This is the reason I'm not adding more bcoz there could always be something unexpected happening. epf can't be used as an indicator of what is to come bcoz i noticed sometimes they buy some counters for which I considered as head scratching and at same time they sell some good one, maybe to raise fund or whatever.
