I think div is there but hard to say how much, YTL seldom fail to payout, of course they can afford to pay, it is a matter whether they want to pay. sold a hotel already pocketed 380m. reits div remains intact, not much capex requirement, by the way they can increase div bec. of extra from hotel disposal !

Based on YTL previous commentary on prospect, YTL management expect all its business division expect to deliver satisfactory result. Therefore, expect YTL can continue payout dividend to reward shareholder

Poorer results than what I expected. No wonder it wait until almost last day to announce it this time.

Share dividend just try to reduce the dividend between this year and last year. However, still lower than last year. Don't forget after adjusting dividend distribution, the actual value of share dividend received will reduce too.

YTL Corp`s financial results are in declining trend since few years ago. Would this company pass three generations? Just wait and see.

YTL distribute 1 treasury shares for every 50 ordinary shares held. What is the difference between treasury shares and ordinary shares? Is the treasury shares just as the same price as ordinary shares? And we can sell the treasury shares just like the ordinary shares? Appreciate some answers. Thanks.

#Bestreturn:Treasury shares received has no different with ordinary shares in the hand of shareholder. *Treasury shares are shares retained from buy back exercise by the company.The board can either cancel it or distribute to reward shareholder. YTL chosen the latter.

for the treasury shares, distributing of 1:50. Meaning, if i got 1000 unit, they would give me 20 shares...making my TOTAL unit 1020 after ex-date?..Is that how it works?

@charliecharlie, your 1000 units only 10 lots. You need to obtain another 40 lots (4,000 units) to entitle you to have 1 free lot. For 10 lots you will not get anything from them.

last minutes YTL 1.43 huge buy, should be EPF, whoelse can buy in hugh volumn. EPF very clever, sell in high, now buy in low again

actually EPF is not clever...they are the one sell down...and sell to 1.39....now they buy at 1.43....so it is lose...not gain....
