There r ows lousy loser like yongch, leaving all the bad comments at the beginning, and buy the share which he think is at lowest price, then deleted all the comments.

I saw many of this character, i named them naive speculator.

This forum, is to share info bout a stock, if you think leaving bad comment caused ytl to drop, u r wrong, if u think u bought at lowest price, u r in big mistake.

I hope ytl drop to RM1 now, cause ppl like yongch, must just dump and cut lost, his comments shown his speculate behaviour...by tat time he will pop up and curse and vanish in ytl here...

Dude, dun ever expect buy at lowest and sell at highest, u will mad one day.

takashi86 You are absolutely correct. To try and buy at lowest and sell at highest is definitely not good for any investor. It is not an investment strategy but more of an attempt to trade smarter than anyone else. Won't work for sure. Will live a life of regrets. Buy low or at a reasonable price and hold for long term if you have faith in the business and management. Don't fret if price falls lower, show some courage and faith.

Guys, just my own opinion, if based on the chart, every ten years this stock will have down trending behavior eg 1997-1998, 2007-2008 and this year ad started the trending. This stock is very sensitive to current economic condition (economic crisis on 1997, 2000 (you can see price declined in 2000 also) & 2007). Maybe the death of the founder has triggered the selling pressure of this stock but I found that the price was already declined from around 1.5 before the founder passed away. The stock is repeating its behavior plus death of the founder might cause the price to push even lower. But not to ignore their incoming project in next year and they might get another government project. I heard the successor is quite capable in managing the company just to afraid another Genting dilemma happen in this company.

Francis Yeoh has taken over the baton since 1988 and everything is well controlled under his radar. The current management is gearing to diversify their business ventures. The only downside for investor is that the share price always hovers around RM1+ which is not attractive compare to other counters.

Gemas not finalize lah...but now YTL stand better chance to bid for government project, as it is not about visibilty as mentioned, is government no fund to issue project like mrt 1 & 2...

They nid turnkey and concession type of contractor...which means not governemnt pay u in progress...is u work then pay like instalment, or give u the right to charge like PLUS h.way.

Lol...so far, i heard so many ppl know even the ceo when they buy the share.

Market dun like uncertainty, as long as gemas is not appointed, ytl is stagnant, bear in mind, francis made the "crownies" speech few years back...he upset not only mahathir, but najib too.

Tats why ytl lack of government projects in recent years, look at supermax, how government used the political revenge.

If Gemas is secure, it will be a huge turning point for ytl, but i really not sure. As gemas major authority involve other than federal, is johore state, but previously ytl power turned down joint venture with SIPP for a power station, and SIPP belongs to johore sultan.

Francis is well known for bargain assets hunting, but i nvr heard he is good in lobbying and politic plays.
