@IIoydlim.. if Maybulk is as big as those drybulk companies in Hong Kong, Taiwan, US and Europe which earn 1000%-2000% of their normal yearly earning then maybe.. (Maybulk should be 10.00 by now if that happens).. with current situation, I don't think will kena windfall tax la..
The Baltic Exchange Dry Index rose 2% to 4,651 on Thursday, its highest since November of 2009 and extending gains to a fifth straight session, amid ongoing shipping constraints and an overall rebound in commodities demand. The capesize index, which tracks iron ore and coal cargos of 150,000-tonnes, advanced 3.3% to 7,438, also hitting its highest in 12 years; and the panamax index which tracks cargoes of about 60,000 to 70,000 tonnes of coal and grains, went up 0.8% to 3,994, its highest in more than ten weeks. Among smaller vessels, the supramax index, advanced for a sixth straight session, adding 11 points to 3,349, its highest in three weeks.
My oh my another record breaking index lo folks. Bulkers freight especially capes sky rocketed. MBC, ini kali lah...lagi best, tomorrow kasi mari kaw kaw lah.. ..
it's time to forecast the Q3 result: Q3 average TCE= 25k USD Hire day = 500 (assume 6 vessel in average in Q3, before completed 2 sold vessel, still can operate) Gross revenue = 500 x 25k USD x 4.15 = RM 52mil (net of voyage expense) operation cost = RM 23mil Net operating profit = RM 29mil One-off gain from 2 vessel = RM50mil PAT is around RM79mil.. finger crossed.
Our local politic climate always influence the confidence of investor, ie 51% already slash the foreign investor intention to enter market even the counter future is so bright.Pls take into account of this factor! This is what i concern.
KML889,i understand what you mention, but if foreign investor willing to enter this counter, they should act during BDI cross 4000 point like what they did in DKSH counter when the company declare good quarter result, why they still not move in even they can forsee the coming 2 quarter sure will give them good return. What factor cause they delay their action, now a day all the transaction mostly come from small investor like us,am i right.
Haha..only if v knew why and when then v wouldn't be here trying to talk up this share, MBC.Haha...small fries like us just exchange views and sometimes venting fuss saja. Anyway, reasonable profits projections is your only lead indicators and whether or not it's jived with market expectations and market consensus. Tu je.
Even the MBC BOD can only predict the steer of the company until this year end and not beyond in their latest q report. It is that volatile the nature of shipping business. That said, if u drill through Enough reading materials, may be it's still a safe bet until 2023. God knows.
The last time MBC quick spike to 80 over cents it's because BPMB was cashing out hence the quick goreng. Hopefully this time round the tug of war of back and forth is actually setting the scene through accumulation for a sustainable rally. Godspeed MBC
