the only way to go abroad is by Air ONLY..... no other means so AA provides the essential service to take you from one location to another location .............

World leaders pledged on Friday to accelerate work on tests, drugs and vaccines against Covid-19 and to share them around the globe, but the United States did not take part in the launch of the World Health Organization (WHO) initiative.

French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa were among those who joined a video conference to launch what the WHO billed as a “landmark collaboration” to fight the pandemic.

The aim is to speed development of safe and effective drugs, tests and vaccines to prevent, diagnose and treat Covid-19, the lung disease caused be the novel coronavirus - and ensure equal access to treatments for rich and poor.

the reason why it should not be dropped to RM 0.35 as opined by others is that AA's NAB is 1.33 at which the share price should have been reflected but it is not currently. the share price should have been valued at least 70% of the 1.33 which is 0.93

Terrible it's gone to 0.76 faster than I really thought. AA is not a tenable proposition anymore. Major airlines converting to freight now. Virgin bailout or bankruptcy talks depending how the next few weeks go. Even the Star where AA advertises heavily are saying down hill and too tough. Why all this? Becoz who was too Greedy n gambled in the oil market placing long calls to buy at USD 70 n huge contracts. Now oil collapse to less than USD 20. So its not the covid that's killed AA. Its their egoist I am always right blatant disregard for careful management. They were not hedging. Overzealous risk taking is gambling with company's money. SC should start the query and investigation. Why and how he "hedged" high.. Even if you hear their created rumours that a China or Europe fund is thinking of buying they will just be vultures. Last minute when almost dead is the cheapest. No one is going to give more. Sell before it breaks the floor 0.70 on the way down fast today.

with the right pricing strategy , surely AA will be the winner in the end......... Pandemic has reached its peak........ to be over soon... Vaccine is expected to be ready in Sept may be earlier than that.....

SC should Query why they over bought so high so much Fuel Purchase at so much higher in advance? That's not hedging. And investigate like the Airbus scandal whether the accumulated billions of oil purchases have "offset" or any commission? Payable back to AA or who? Wonder what's the SC doing?

QR may not justify ebitda n PE for 0.60 and coupled with next following QR assuming the losses from fuel will not be even larger, we are looking at range 0.40 to 0.50 for quite some time. Don't listen to crony analysts in their bumi banks. They just want us to buy so they can exit. Look at what JP Morgan and aviation experts are saying about the downhill pressures on airlines and restaurants in the new normal. AA unfortunately is even worse off, because of their gambling. If you gamble and win not too bad. But they gambled and lost everything. AA will be sold at very low bids. Due D will show the inbuilt long term crazy fuel contracts at exorbitant prices. The oil collapse just amplifies the view. Those who cleverly exited yesterday at 0.78 are laughing now. And tomorrow?

Maybe Air Asia can consider to expand its business in Air Freight. DHL and FEDEX are the example. Maybe can consider GDEX.

Dear Government....Please don't buy and agree with the idea of merging AA and MAS. Despite the book value of MAS "MAY" is diminishing if not zeroing by "MAY END", but still it "MAY" has a potential in becoming a "siphoning tool" between taxpayers' money and any tycoons' exit strategy?. Virgin Australia has failed in that attempt and eventually we could witness their collapse without taxpayer money! And, Virgin Atlantic is approaching The UK Government to turn the dice again, and, "May be" they should adopt that idea of merging with British Airways?? However, BA is relatively healthier than MAS, so merging idea cannot be justified straight away??. The point here is the creativity to Macgyver the circumstances and creating a "siphoning tool" for the survival. Asian is always good in Macgyvering things more than any other nations in the world?. Airlines businesses are haunted...by "MAY END"...

Malaysia open Europe and America remain close, do you think malaysis product will go in to these countries. How many % of industry ptoduct export to these country. Many SME bosses are woriied.

In a statement, IAG said: "The proposals remain subject to consultation, but it is likely that they will affect most of British Airways' employees and may result in the redundancy of up to 12,000 of them."

The company said it will take several years for air travel to return to pre-virus levels, a warning that has been echoed by airlines across the world.
