CORONAVIRUS | As the government plans to ease restrictions on the movement control order (MCO) next Monday, concerns have been raised that it may be too early to do so.

A look at data over the past seven days since April 25, shows that more than half of the 380 new Covid-19 cases were local or community transmissions.

even if they can fly, I dont think most of the people will be travelling until the situation is better, not just MY, but other countries as well. IMHO, better stay aside until we can see the situation improves

It is based on perception. If the first move begin on 4 May 2020 to resume restricted operation, then the market will perceive that the full gate is likely to open very soon...

That is why you do notice that the share price is not the lowest when the current situation is the worst(e.g the selling price of their product is lowest). The lowest share price may appear when the future is the most uncertainty..

it will be a tough time for this stock for few months due to limitation number of passengers. so the price will be goes around 0.65-0.95 for few months.. but in future it will pick up again.. just need to keep for long term.. maybe 2-3 years. just my 2 cents opinion

US has so many air lines, but Malaysia has only 3 major airlines, out of 3, AA is the strongest. If all 3 airlines go bankrupt, then Malaysia no airlines lor...and it is so difficult to start a new one from zero...

Airlines is a good industry as over the years numbers of passengers has quadruple. Lower oil may be a catalyst for planes to provide reduced cost. However, I feel due to high repayment debt, and slim margin most airlines will be expected to loose billions during these few quarters. So, it has little to do with oil price and more of high gearing than I believe most airlines must have bailouts from government to continue on.

The advantage here is domestic flight is the only salvage point. But AAX might drag earnings. It is rare to see Tony making a video appeal to take refund credit as well. For short term trade okay but as for investment I will lay out of it at least the entire year.
