Now they put the blip in the front. Take your time but exit today. Boeing and Airbus both announced that this industry is now graveyard. Dead. Gravest in fact. Both lost more than USD 600 million in Q1 alone and they didn't gamble big on enormous fuel contracts with billions of losses coming. AA Q1 Q2 Q3 all near billion losses because can't run from the projected catastrophic fuel losses. AA is in the Grave. If can get out with your money intact at 0.80 and make some it's an achievement already. Good luck.

There is some remaining shares by EPF so EPF needs to be aggressive and demand for a full forensic on the audited accounts for Q1 and the internal projected management account for Q2 to start with. These losses are truly unprecedented so we need to check inside out. If it reveals hidden losses or anything like a fraudulent act, EPF quickly sell and save our pensions. Use the same money to invest our EPF in medical ind like Top Glove far safer and got much better upside. AA punters like myself just got to get our extra two sen and exit on a day like today.

Bearish on AA airline counter
1.Hedge oil at USD60-70, now oil price at USD20!
2.90% of planes are grounded. Parking fees to airport are huge! Maintenance fees to aircrafts still need to do despite not flying! Not flying means no revenue, no profit, cash draining out fast!
3. Rental of all kinds still need to pay despite no revenue
4. Staff salary still need to pay despite no revenue.
5. The only cash generating business ie price per ticket sold is still low!
6. Seating inside airasia airplane is not following the minimal distance as per Government recommendation! Spacing out seating will reduce number of passengers per plane capacity!
7. E-business is total failure! Eating up profit margin.

1. Oil hedge can be adjusted. Can hedge oil for future at this low price.
2. Parking fee, maintenance and leasing all can be adjusted. Deferment may work. AA is big client.
3. Staff salary is already cut.
4. Small revenue from teleport, santan, bigpay and online shop.
5. Applying for loan may be approved.
You never know.

It is clear as daylight that things are getting better for AA but there somehow are observers see negative of this counter.

AA is not manage by people who are in to make money and run... but to create a legacy we all can be proud off.

i say, if you are in LT, there is no doubt things will improve, but ST, lets just say, you would be busy posting arguments day in day out here.

@apple168, very good analyis, i hope most investors as smart as you, but ppl punya punya thoughts actually very straight foward sometimes, you are right on ur analysis but shares price are determine by majority especially shares value below 1 ringgit can be easily move by ikan bilis, i am sure most ikan bilis will just buy with simple tots, no bankrap, starts to fly again, MCO releasing. it will still up abit althoughi think wont up much larr, i think everyone is aware of current situations now

After MCO period you will all realize what position is Airasia in. It may be undervalued now or severely overvalued. Time will tell. Im leaning on severely overvalued. Disclaimer: I am invested in American airlines company but not airasia.
