现在由于疫苗可能无法抵御变种病毒的负面新闻,手套股今天全部上涨,尤其二线手套股ESCERAM ,现在这家手套股最便宜了!散户再来炒热了!

Now due to the negative news that the vaccine may not be able to withstand the mutant virus, glove stocks all rise today, especially the second-line glove stock ESCERAM, which is now the cheapest! Retail investors are coming again!

AirAsia resumes Kuala Lumpur-Singapore flights under Reciprocal Green Lane scheme
Monday, 17 Aug 2020 06:53 PM MYT

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.malaymail.com/amp/news/malaysia/2020/08/17/airasia-resumes-kuala-lumpur-singapore-flights-under-reciprocal-green-lane/1894714

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 — AirAsia resumed its Kuala Lumpur to Singapore flights today, allowing cross-border travel for essential and official travellers following the implementation the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) scheme by both countries.

AirAsia Malaysia CEO Riad Asmat said both countries have taken relentless efforts and strict discipline in containing the spread of Covid-19, and the RGL is a first step towards reviving the economy, especially for those who have essential travel needs between both countries.

“We look forward to seeing more ‘travel bubbles’ and ‘green lanes’ formed between countries with low infection rates or active cases, and proven pandemic curbing systems to facilitate the need for air travel.

“At the same time, we urge all guests to adhere to the required regulations and follow the safety measures for a safe flying journey,” he said in a statement today.

The flight departed from klia2 today at 11.50am to Changi International Airport, and returned to klia2 at 2.35pm.
He said AirAsia will continue to review the suitability of introducing more frequencies between the two countries.
“AirAsia would like to remind guests of travel requirements set by both countries under the RGL scheme, all inbound and outbound travellers for essential business and official travel between Malaysia and Singapore via the RGL are required to check their eligibility and travel requirements before their scheduled departure,” he said.
More information on the matter available on AirAsia’s Travel Requirements page. — Bernama

Walaoeh, what a superb good news !!!
AirAsia resumes Kuala Lumpur-Singapore flights on August 17 under Reciprocal Green Lane scheme !!!

Like that I got a superb confidence on Airasia already!!!
I will keep on buying Airasia shares on every month end when my salary was out !!!

You will never ever got such a golden opportunity anymore to buy Airasia shares at a price below RM1.00
which is damn super cheap for a multi-national company which own few hundred of Boeing & Airbus aeroplanes and running it’s thousand of air routes for around 200 plus countries in the world !!!

cruise ship biz also similar like air transportation, big trouble

A cruise ship operator controlled by Malaysian tycoon Lim Kok Thay plunged as much as 33% in Hong Kong after the company suspended all payments to creditors.

Genting Hong Kong Ltd. said it will use its available funds to maintain critical services for the company’s operations and asked creditors to form a steering committee to evaluate a planned restructuring proposal, according to a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange on Wednesday night. The company owed a total of $3.4 billion as of July 31, it said.

The firm, part of the Genting group, blamed the cash crunch on the coronavirus pandemic and said the payment halt will likely result in default. Malaysia’s casino-to-hospitality conglomerate Genting Bhd. and its units previously imposed its first group-wide salary cut since its founding in 1965. Lim owned 69% of the Hong Kong unit’s shares as of April 3, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

"For Genting, the financial stress may push the owner to sell the asset, or liquidate the entire firm,” said Banny Lam, the head of research at CEB International Investment Corp.

"Liquidation is not very likely, but there is such a possibility if Lim doesn’t have money and can’t find a buyer for its assets. In that case, equity holders rank behind bond holders to get compensated.”

Genting Hong Kong shares were down a record 33% at 10:37 a.m. local time. Genting Bhd. shares were untraded due to a holiday in Malaysia. Genting Singapore Ltd. fell 1.4%.

Genting Bhd. operates casinos and resorts in Las Vegas and Singapore. It’s had to scale back operations as countries impose lockdowns, while consumers shun cruises after a few ships became sites of coronavirus outbreaks.

The conglomerate, founded in Malaysia in 1965, is also involved in property, plantation and energy sectors as well as life sciences. - Bloomberg

@Up_again Lmao that so called mutant strain has been around for awhile now. No reputable international news outlet is reporting on this. A large part of the statement by the Director General is total BS made up by him. I guess he just wants the people to be more willing to comply with the rules and to reduce the spread.
