Whoever believe in AA, just buy. For those who don't, just leave it. Don't KBKB. Whether AA investors make or lose money, it is non of your business.

I think it will cut off a lot of things, and focus on getting up with new directions to complement it. But bankruptcy, I personally don't think so. There are visible efforts to survive and rise back.

But to each their own. If you have no faith, don't invest, go to some other place. If you have faith, invest and wait for the time to come soon.

On Oct 6, AAX announced a proposed debt restructuring scheme to reconstitute the RM63.5 billion debt into a principal amount of RM200 million, which is payable annually over a period of up to five years.

KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia X Bhd’s (AAX) net loss widened to RM308.46 million in the third quarter ended Sept 30,2020, from RM229.89 million in the same quarter last year.

The closure of international borders following the COVID-19 pandemic dragged the long-haul carrier’s revenue down by 94 per cent to RM59.91 million during the quarter under review from RM1.01 billion previously.

For the cumulative nine-month period, AAX’s net loss ballooned to RM1.16 billion against RM393.67 million while revenue shrank to RM1.08 billion from RM3.20 billion previously, the airline said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

On Oct 6, AAX announced a proposed debt restructuring scheme to reconstitute the RM63.5 billion debt into a principal amount of RM200 million, which is payable annually over a period of up to five years.

"The implementation of the scheme is ongoing and its success is critical to the ability of the company to raise new funding, either as debt or equity, and to continue as a going concern, ” it added.

In a separate filing today, Mercury Securities Sdn Bhd, on behalf of the airline’s board, announced that Bursa Malaysia Securities had, vide its letter dated today, resolved to grant AAX an extension of time until Jan 6,2021, to submit the application for the proposed share consolidation and the draft circular to the AAX shareholders in relation to the proposals.

Under its planned corporate restructuring, AAX has proposed a consolidation of every 10 existing ordinary shares in AAX into one AAX share. - Bernama

Malaysia in deal with China for Covid-19 vaccine development
PUBLISHED : 18 NOV 2020 AT 19:40

https://www.bangkokpost.com/world/2021843/malaysia-in-deal-with-china-for-covid-19-vaccine-development

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia said on Wednesday it has signed an agreement with China to cooperate on the development of a safe and efficacious vaccine, as part of efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

Under the agreement, in force for an initial period of five years, the Southeast Asian nation will be given priority access to Covid-19 vaccines developed by China. Both will share knowledge and expertise and facilitate scientific and technological capabilities to advance vaccine development in their countries, Malaysia said in a joint ministerial statement.
Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin signed the agreement with his Chinese counterpart Wang Zhigang in a virtual ceremony.

Cooperation between Malaysia and China under the agreement would be supervised by a committee chaired by the foreign affairs ministers of both countries that was formed in October to address post-pandemic challenges.

"Both countries will also support the participation of their public and private sectors including universities, institutions, societies and organisations in joint collaborative projects," the Malaysian ministries said.

Sinovac has been used by about 1 million people all over the world especially in UAE, Epygt, Bahrain, Brazil, Qatar and of course China. Sinovac is otw to Malaysia by Q1 2021. So sit back and buy AA shares. Soon everyone can fly again.

No one knows when the vaccine will be available at a mass level. Yes, news of a vaccine that is 90% effective has provided hope but it hasn’t even gone into third stage testing. It is premature exuberance.

Nothing is going to change for the next one year, at least. By then, most businesses would have collapsed and inbound travels, even if lifted, will not see the 2019 activity.

It will take a while for normalcy to return and most airlines are looking at 2023, the earliest.

AA exposure is more on domestic air routes and airasia thailand, Airasia Philippines and india and CHINA. AAX is mostly international.
Besides, AA is now not just about air travel but digital and cargo.
If want to spread fear so that can buy low.. At least do more homework.
