Gomen wont let AA fall. Plus, this is not your average stock, look at the share owner ship distribution. not your average speculators owning the share. Many big boys who will need to see AA rise and will ensure it does.

Asean air travel to lead the way. With vaccination, increased and more efficient testing, (testing will likely be based on breathalysers)

Why would getting into fintech a good thing for a heavily indebted company that are desperate to conserve cash. Fintech company need to burn cash to acquire expensive technical talent and setup cutting edge infrastructure. They are also burning cash to fight for market share with other fintech company back by billions in venture capital.

Govt targets 40% digitalisation of end-to-end service delivery by year end
PUTRAJAYA (Dec 7): The government is targetting 40% digitalisation of the end-to-end (E2E) service delivery by the end of this year compared to 20.2% in 2019, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said.
He said the digitalisation process will continue to be intensified with focus also to be given to the development of the digital economy to boost the country’s economic growth post Covid-19.
“In facing the economic impact of the global Covid-19 pandemic, the government has taken an inclusive and comprehensive approach in a bid to ensure the economic survival and the well-being of the people.
This includes efforts to empower the digitalisation agenda which is included in one of the strategic thrusts of the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030,” he said in his speech at the launch of Malaysia Biz portal streamed via MAMPU Facebook page today.
The MalaysiaBiz portal functions as a one-stop centre to facilitate online registration of business and application of licence efficiently.
Muhyiddin said the target of the digitalisation process was also strengthened by the setting up of the National Digital Economy and Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) Council, which he chairs, to ensure sustainable digital economic development for the benefit of all in line with the 4IR technology potentials in the country.

Airasia depends not only on myr. Get out of your little world.
Airasia depends on CNY, Rupees, Baht, etc... Going into online remittance and fintech makes perfect sense. Not online peanut selling.

samo50sg which fintech company in the world had been able to expand quickly across different countries? financial service provider need to deal with different regulation in each country. it is a big problem that take alot of expert local knowledge to navigate. you cannot setup a financial service company and just start offering services in every country. In south east asia all the market are small market so it would be very difficult for fintech company to grow since there is so many different regulators to deal with once you want to expand out of the home market.
