Yes. There might be a right issue. But would TF do it knowing the conditions are not right now? We got the domestic market that would open up very soon. Vaccine progression going fast. Won't he wait until investors are confident before calling for one? Afterall, he would have to pledge to subscribe as well. Epf and funds are all watching.

So at what price would it be when he announce and at what discount attractive enough?

MAS have been draining money for decades. They might be rescued this year by using our money again but trust me, they will still be draining money for the next 3 years. At what point will the government decides its enough? We all know the politicians are just keeping their people happy until they leave office. Its a time bomb that will explode again.

All airlines are facing debts. Even the mighty SIA. Its what they do during this crisis that matters. Sell peanuts, flights to nowhere, 1k airline food are all stop gap short term measures.

AA concentrated on the future. SuperApp, cloud technology, digitalisation, online banking, cargo partnerships which all points to the future of aviation. What did MAS do? Nothing.

Investors look at prospects. Not dwell on what has happened. At 0.75. This share is cheap if you willing to hold until the crisis is over and the investments start to pay off.

So far, ive not seen analyst willing to go into these aspects of AA now. All stil focused on covid, which will soon be a thing of the past

Do u know how AA earn for his flight route? Cheap and economic. How.. by squeezing as many ppl in a flight as possible. Tht is not possible even vaccination is done.. btw when u think malaysia will begin its vaccination in large scale? God knows. Till then need SOP. Bigpay n Teleport could be their main revenue but when? Maybe few yrs time? AA left how much liquidity? 600m left according 3rd qr report. One qr arg burnt 300m. By next yr 1st qr AA will dry. Loan and RI is imminent. Big loan no assets no security unless got gov guarantee, if not no need talk. The only way is RI. So IB alrrady predicts 35C (maybe cimb prediction too harsh.. i give 50) so y need to buy now? U wanna trade by sentiment then go ahead, but dont talk nonsence say the company fundamentally strong , good prospect ..etc.

Anyway, both our opinions don't matter at all. This is how I invest and it has made me money over the years. If I make money then good for me, if the share price dips as you said then you should be glad that you are not investing in AirAsia.

So what if there is or there isn't a RI? All is under speculation.

Even if there is RI at 35c or 50c there is a high possibility that it will be RM1 one day too.

If there isn't a RI, we are wasting time and money speculating here.

not saying that airasia will bounce back immediately but should there be recovery next year given imminent vaccines roll out, which airlines will be in the best position to capitalize on that? how will the pent up demand for international travel be?

personally felt a bit regret didn't enter when it was in 50+ cents, but since it went up to 60+ cents i have started entering small positions, can always average down if it dips again. the risk is definitely present, but the potential reward is reasonably good as well.

don't need to keep scaring people with doomsday predictions, which counter is without risk? so scared then put money in fd la. or if so confident covid is gonna be around forever, then enter gloves, bising sini buat apa. you really think comments here will affect the stock price?
