with gov loosen the mco rules like allow bazaars to open, pre-raya cases increasing is expected, so let see how low the price goes in coming weeks, my guess is 0.85 - 0.90, consider that vaccination good news will compensate the cases spike bad news

It will drop below 90sen next week. My main concern is the next Q1 report. Q4 2020 pressed it down 20% 2 weeks ago. No MCO except Sabah in Q4 2020. But Q12021 we had nationwide MCO in January and until today no interstate travel is allowed. We have 2 months before the Q12021 release. During these 2 months TF must come out with some good speeches to pull the share price up before it falls again.

Oil prices went up in Q12021.
It's almost certain that Q12021 will be a lot more gloomy than Q4 2020. RI has been raised by TF in March too. Most likely in June. Do you want to gamble? Can't you wait for the lower price?

For the next two months until end of June 2021, market situation looks gloomy. We may see spring back in early July onwards.

Meantime, pool your resource in case you are salivating for cheap tickets.

I am waiting to top up below my average price which is @85 sen.

RI will be 40% cheaper than whatever the share price is. Another drop will take place immediately after the RI announcement too. Unless the share price is RM1. 50 when they announce RI or else no point to buy now.

Most likely we can get 60sen to 70sen when RI happens.

Before used to say company sure close shop, now vaccine is here, and Airasia has also diversified it's business not hoping for handouts.
There are still aircrafts flying, frequency and destinations are increasing gradually.

Diversified business is very good. But never forgets the current situation. Those new businesses don't generate income until 2022 or 2023. The main concern, again, is no interstate travel for the next 2 to 3 months.

This will look extremely bad on the Q1 Q2 2021.
I love Airasia. But now is not a sensible price to buy. Too risky.
