AA no doubt is a lousy cheapskate management but the fact is rebound was always on the cards as tourism rebound continues. Will climb back up to RM1 eventually..
@Sarcasm777, first the company will do restructure his debt. where by all arreas will come to profit due not paying the arreas. same trick with the AAX. after all account become more decent and uflift the pn17. air asia will add the debt to put more money as asset.. all the company the world used this trick and as long as your business alive and can paid the debt then should be okey.. but the bad thing happen was airasia collapse due lock down by GOV and not doing the business.. that all
as long as can convince regulator that they will survive can service debts pay salary / expenses and even make profit. no problem. dun need scared. so many rice bowl depends on Capital A. regulator wont let it die la. make it make sense.
Today, the budget airline has launched its school holiday sale to offer unbeatable airfares to several family-friendly local and international destinations from Kuala Lumpur. -Malay Mail - ********** More cash to come in to service the loans.
AirAsia to offer cheap flights to Europe by end of 2023... for long term investment good for this company. they not too much in focus in domestic but also focus out sider area. just unfortunately fail in japan and india thought. even have additional area like combodia but they are just small population...

AA sits on 1.3bil advanced ticket sales as at end Sept 2022. In the last few months, they did so many promos...7 mil free tickets, 5 mil free tickets followed by some bundle packages. Their books are horrible. net debt RM2.4bil, excluding lease liabilities sitting in the books of almost RM15bil. Shareholders funds in deficit at RM7.1bil. Technically is a bankrupt company
@Sslee...yup its bankrupt company but the company operating 59 plane in malaysia and operating outside total up Fleet size 255 (including subsidiaries) in bursa in malaysia only capital A & AAX in this field and others like MAS already delete long ago. not only the air lines also ehailing and fintech on emoney/digital banking, ofcourse not as strong like grab but currently in malaysia also got shivery by airasia due low cost taxy for now. not only the grab also will do demo/protesting against grab later.. ofcourse airasia also do others business as if in future have lock down again or some thing like before they will have running their business...the bad thing no big capital & no investor.. its a big risk now..may be after their do restructuring will have the profit like AAX... debt 23bil and after restructuring for now already make the profit 25.09M...as news around this month will have the progress about this,,, just wait
Can make money from these 5 million free seats? If not then when can CapitalA make quarterly profit again?

Before the pandemic, AirAsia offered free seats every year, yet it still made multi millions Ringgit net profit every quarter. Who is smarter to manage an airline company? Tony or those, including me who writes comments here?
Sslee. U still here? Making the same dumb statements?? Please update yourself and use ChatGPT to update yourself. Don't make the same dumb statements that reflected badly on yourself....
