It is their claim against his. Anyway it is as in his personal caoacity. We & EPF & ASN fully own this company. Fo all we care he can be behind bars for 200yrs...as long as Maxis (M) is not sued..we will get our investment intact just like that bank which caught the "donation" (nothing happened) : JUST MY PERSONAL OPINUION

He is just an unlucky guy caught in the crossfire of politics. Anyway, that man in India got the spectrum but have no money to roll out the infrastructure n no Indian banks want to lent him the money as he is in their bad books. Thus he negotiated with a few parties to sell his company but no deals were made. Seemingly they want a cheap bargain. Along came Ananda n he offer him a high price n the deal was done.

Today, the seller claimed that he was forced to sell to Ananda. But was he? Before Ananda came in, he has already negotiated with few parties with a view to sell.

To me, Ananda is just an unlucky man.

Another set of spectrum is due to expire in the middle of this year. Where the telcos are heading, nobody knows for sure.Telcos are expected to fork out another huge sum of money to pay the gomen.

finally disposed all shares @ 6.41 avg cost 5.98. I think value a little high now and 2017 revenue will be flat. At least manage to collect 1 year plus dividend plus capital appreciation. will buy in again of value drop to 5plus

The price for Maxis is now at its best so if you are keen to invest then you got to wait a bit. However I might be wrong! Good luck guys! I have an eye for this counter for sure. Waiting for the right time.

I think so. The placement has no material effect on its EPS considering it is used to pare down its debt resulting in interest savings of abt 59 million.
