hahaha @Agjl @MrFox ..... letting off some steam when market is good - as when market is bad will go into hibernation LOL.... just that I missed out on some counters that I was targeting like Suncon and Gamuda.... gone up too high already, as I was suppose to dilute some ytl/ytlp into these.... not sure if its right time to do so now ??? haish.... good dilemma times :-) happy hunting

The share price of YTLPower closed at 5.30 today.
Parabolic SAR, Force Index and daily MACD have shown buy signals now.
The uptrend has started and I wish the share price will break 5.44 soon.

All youtube videos are recommending YTLPower, YTL and Ranhill on data centers.
Even the TV from Taiwan also broadcast this news.
I believe data centers theme will still can go very far, it is the beginning only.

Sustenance comes from the Lord. We can improve it by being observance of His precepts and commandments. Some got huge Sustenance owing to the merits from their passed on parents or grandparents. On the opposite side, some intelligent & highly qualified people can not pay the monthly minimum 5% credit card. Some children wiped out the wealth inherited from their rich parents.

Statistics shows that local funds are buying big into YTL Power in past few days, driving the share price up to RM5.30, and the local fund buying has over-whelmed selling by foreign funds and some local retailers.

This is a reverse of the situation in Jan-Mar 2024. Perhaps local funds know something the foreign funds and us local retailers don't know yet. I see some good news coming, or local funds are fully convinced of YTLPower strong earnings growth in next few years.

blackrock now holds 62.4 mil
dimensional fund advisors holds 9.39 mil
american century investment holds 3.96 mil
many more foreign funds
local funds not visible in fact some already cashed out when rising

Yes I agree with you there have been many different foreign funds buying into YTL Power in the past few months, a lot of them are private equity funds. But there are also some short term foreign funds who have taken profit, it is good that these hot money has exited the stock and their selling has been well absorbed by other longer term foreign funds and local funds.

I have received requests for more information from a couple of funds based in Hong Kong to which I just shared my own analysis and view on the company earnings outlook.

When the share price of YTLPower crossed and closed above 5.44 convincingly, many traders will jump in to buy this stock.
Traders like to buy on breakout especially all time high breakout.

@Aero1, yes I also read somewhere showing that EPF had made a batch of buyback in YTL Power shares, but cannot confirm that as there is no Bursa announcement when EPF's stake is less than 5%

The wealth effect of the bull mkt and booming data centre which boost construction activities and labour mkt will be felt soon... We need a stable govt.
