Really so many people that have serve the country with distinction ? Or is it has to do with something else? Maybe we are just a title crazy society trying to fool ourselves.
Or was the award a form of gratification for covering up or ignoring to charge some scandals?Mahafiraun is a well known Father of Cover-ups.Cover-ups were at its peak when he was 22 years as PM.Lately we see a lot of cover-ups and No further action.People eagerly voted for the Rule of Law without fear of favor .
Well done, DAP. You've live up to your words, that you strive for the people and country, and not titles. It is evident here when almost 100 percent are non-Malays. We are proud of you. What's in a title when you are virtually unproductive, corrupted and power-crazy, very much seen amongst all those BN/Umno leaders prior to their fall in GE14. Keep it up.
Thomas, hang your Tan Sri title next to Mahathir photo and now you will have more time admiring those. As long as you listen to the old man, more titles and perks will be coming your way. We had high hopes but all wasted. Thanks and enjoy your titles and what not.
Strictly no conferment given to any politicians that are on duty, only give to those who really contributed to the society & country and also o peace & unity.
Thank you your Highnesses... Appointing creditable people Brigg honour to the title . Previously titles are given to clowns, thieves, money launderer and even thugs and gangster.
Yes, If anyone had any doubts that this PH government would be different from the UMNO/BN government this long list list of honours would demolish that. People have been given high awards just for being in that position and not for any outstanding performance . Just what has the AG, IGP and military chiefs done to merit their recognition in the short time they have been in place? For starters I would have expected the former PM to be in jail serving time instead of strutting around with his lawyers in tow. As far as I see it the AG will eventually blow his case against Najib. As for the IGP, the Pastor Koh case is still unresolved and he has still not been able to locate Indra Gandhi’s daughter. So will these two key government people tell us the public just what they have done to merit these grand awards? In most countries civil service officials get awards after a long and distinguished but not in Malaysia where awards are given only for loyalty. And we wonder why we are in a political and economic mess.

Sabah Umno open for negotiations, except for pro-Warisan parties
Sabah Umno is willing to consider working with any party for the next general election apart from those that are aligned with Warisan, said Sabah Umno chief Bung Moktar Radin.
He said there were already plans to hold talks with Sabah Bersatu, but was stalled when the movement control order was announced.
“We’ll do that (negotiate with Bersatu). It’s just that it was stopped by the movement control order. I will personally talk to Sabah Bersatu president Hajiji Mohd Noor.
“God willing, we will discuss with Bersatu after the order expires to plan strategies for facing Warisan at the general election. Sabah Umno is prepared to negotiate with any party that is not with Warisan,” he said on Wednesday.
He said this when asked to explain why Perikatan Nasional has not established itself in Sabah.
He was speaking at a talk show moderated by Noor Azizan Abdul Majid, which was broadcasted live on Facebook.
Meanwhile, the Kinabatangan MP admitted that there is discontent towards the federal government.
“Sabah Umno is still stable, although some people say there’s been a little ‘wave’ (of discontent) since PN was established.
“This is because Umno leaders in Sabah felt slighted when not one of its two MPs were chosen to the PN cabinet.
“The same goes for GLCs – Umno Sabah was left out. Some of our leaders are angry towards the prime minister,” he said.
Balance of power in Sabah
He added that there must be ‘balance’ between Umno and Bersatu in Sabah.
“There must be strength in Sabah Umno as a supporter in the formation of PN, whereas (Sabah) Bersatu all got official positions, but Sabah Umno did not.
“How are we going to face the coming general election? There should be a balance between the two parties, and that’s what Sabah Umno leaders are demanding,” he said.
He said he would meet Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to voice Sabah Umno’s views on the ‘unfair allocation’ of political appointments.
“This is not because we are angry, but to ensure balance in facing the 15th general election,” he said.
Previously, Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had penned a letter to Muhyiddin asking for several Sabah Umno leaders to be appointed to lead government agencies.
Among others, Zahid asked Muhyiddin to appoint Bung as the Sabah Federal Development Department chairperson.
A man who steal.public money, had spiky hair, marries a younger woman with equally colorful hair. Lives in opulence, half a dozen maid, shows him.swimming at own house pool during mco. Foul mouth during debate, make s.e.x.is.t jokes on women in parliament. Shows shallowness in arguments using emotions and anger to get the point through. How can s.c.u.m like that can still be elected and sits on high position? Are we so devoid of decent human being?
PH you must learn from this. Do not be arrogant and want to remain 3 parties only. You want to contest maximum seats. Why cannot you cooperate with parties like PBS, STAR, PSB, Waythamoorty party etc. See how Sabah umno inviting all. You all must be political Savy. If you all remain only 3 of you guarantee you all will lose.
This crook is applying pressure to Myuhidin to include BumBum and to drop the charges. I don't think he is going anywhere. Both he and pretty wife have been booked a place in Sg Buloh.
KennyDowJones,No inkling of serving their constituencies. Instead, wishful for higher and more lucrative appointments. No salaries ought to be paid by GLCs for political appointees, save reimbursement of expenses to attend Board meetings
The big money grab by PN is continuing at a furious pace. Moo, you need to expand your cabinet to include many ministers and deputy ministers holding the 'special affairs' portfolio to keep everyone happy.
