HO ho HO Is this guy Chin Tong for real?

Why doesn't this so called 'political strategist' sort out the shortcomings of his unstable and treacherous political coalition? Rather than being the self appointed 'Mr Fixit' for Muhyiddin, Chin Tong should spend his time strategising for a political realignment of Opposition forces who subscribe to a united, democratic, equal, non-racial and non-sectarian Malaysia. The old political formula is inherently unstable whereby there is a subtext of 'Ketuanan Melayu' and 'Ketuanan Islam'. Chin Tong must unashamedly reject the politics of tacit genuflection to Malay and Islamic political hegemony.

It has become self evident that Pakatan Harapan was a coalition of unhappy bedfellows having different political agendas. So much so, the Rakyat was betrayed when the Manifesto which cynically cast aside by Mahathir who deliberately allowed the disparate political agendas to run amuck and cause Pakatan Harapan to be so unstable and divisive.

Why did Chin Tong and his party the DAP, and even PKR play dumb and not stand up to all the treachery which was going on within the PH government? They allowed the government to sleepwalk into sure collapse. Now Chin Tong is now pontificating after the fact, but it is misdirected. He should focus instead on regrouping and rebuilding Pakatan Harapan so it can be an effective Opposition. Forget about forming the next government when 'strategists' like Chin Tong cannot see the wood for the trees and wastes time being the unsolicited political advisor to Muhyiddin!

Chin Tong may not realise this, but the current mood of the people is with the Muhyiddin government which is viewed to be effective in handling the Covid pandemic and there is a sense of gratitude for this. We no longer hear strident voices of racism, religious bigotry and irrationality which characterized the PH government. If Muhyiddin and his possible successor Hishammudin can continue to rein in these divisive forces in Malaysian politics then it would be seen as 'effective' government worth re-electing despite its obvious shortcomings.

People just want to get on with their lives and live in peace and harmony. The Pakatan Harapan government did everything possible to hurt and inflame the racial and religious pride of every citizen during its short tenure. I believe the modus operandi had Mahathir Mohammad's finger prints all over it. His pointed refusal to name a date to transfer power over to Anwar Ibrahim as he was mandated to do created political instability within the coalition and set into motion a factional war and a grab for power through treacherous means.

Mahathir Mohammad was outfoxed by Muhyiddin and Azmin who brought forward the time line of the planned collapse of Pakatan Harapan. Mahthir's agenda now is to make sure Anwar Ibrahim does not become the next PM as well as use the Opposition's strength to bargain for a senior position for his son Mukriz in any future government. That is why Bersatu is represented in both sides of the political divide, so much for integrity and political principle.

How pathetic to see Pakatan Harapan still hanging on to the coattails of Mahathir. It is a measure of their disarray and lack of principle.

The reality is PN isn’t having the numbers or Mukhydin doesn’t trust PasDumno or Umno . Probably Anwar was called by Mukyhiddin last week for a support meeting in event of floor test. Looks like Anwar hasn’t given him the support for votes. The Parliament seating will probably be for morning session. Mukyiddin hasn’t withdrawn Najib or Zahid court cases and so Umno may trigger vote of no confidence and withdraw support and Mukh regime will collapse. Umno probably with Pas thinks they can win GE15 if called. Initially they preferred elections. Ex11PKR and PPBM is desperate to get the numbers probably without Umno due to many demands so the SG of PPBM is travelling but why if not recruiting. Moreover Prabha not agreeing to Afif request to join PN was probably reason for uncouth bad treatment by Sanatara when Prabha went to meet him.
That could be reason why Mahathir hasn’t moved to PN while also being gatekeeper on Anwar . PH should be wise and Anwar should be opposition Chief in Parliament and PM candidate.
Chin Tong if Mahathir is going to be PM candidate for PH now than better let PN rule at least all the race hating , pendatang , religious and race bigotry etc by mahathir has stopped.
