Muhiyddin is the weakest PM in history, he faces challengers within his own party and PN parties are not respecting him. Why? Because UMNO-PAS known that his PM-ship is depending on their support, that's why they can violate MCO, demand positions openly. They don't give face and respect Muhiyddin. That's why they can bully Muhiddyin openly without worry about consequences, that's why Muhiyddin can't enforce discipline within PN.

Can you imagine if DAP did the same thing by demanding position openly?

Despite some noises, Tun M was treated with respect in PH. PH even agreed to let him be PM as long as he wants, Anwar said give him space to do necessary to save the country.

The contrast is so obvious.

Having work with both side, Muhiyddin should know the character of the people he work with more than anyone else.

Why should where Mahathir and his 4 other MPs sit matter to Bersatu? They are still party members and crossing over to sit in the Opposition benches is very common even in the most advanced democracies where MPs disagree with their own party's policies. So far Tun Mahathir has refused to support Muhyiddin let alone endorse the PN backdoor government. I suspect he will make a statement on 18 May when he attends Parliament. So far all indications are that Tun is waiting for the MCO to be over to make his move. The PH has also not made a decision on who is to be the Opposition leader since they need to consult with other parties and groups in the Opposition like Warisan, the Mahathir faction, Upko, PSB and other Independent MPs. Neither has PH refused to work with Tun. So to those who are ardent supporters of Muhyiddin here, do not be so overconfident about the direction of Tun and PH. This backdoor government will collapse latest by December 2020 if not earlier.

Even the opposition do not need TDM anymore. He have betrayed them enough, so why this wayang kulit.

TDM got what he hoped for. A Malay controled administration, so why the charade anymore. Nobody believes in his acts, statements or even what he is pretending to stand for.

The dissapointment by millions of voters who wanted a change. The millions of voters who wanted this raping and plundering of this nation stopped. The millions of voters who wanted to bring some worth of sancity to the many departments in the govt. departments. Like the Judiciary , PDRM, MACC and all the departments that stood for justice all wiped out by just one man TDM.

The dissapointment by the millions of voters to see a better standard of education that will lift the Malays to a level where they can compete with the best in the world, all turn to ashes all because of one man TDM.

So now why the false tantrums of wanting to sit in the opposition bench. Why the false pretence of trying to show that he upholds his principles WHAT PRINCIPLES ?

His October 6th "Maruah Baruah Kongres" was in fact the trailer for what happened four months later. And the table thumping drama by his so-called Political Secretary (a loyalist of the Felda Thief) was added into the script to fool the doubters and provide cover for the dramatic resignation - something which Mendacious Mahathir is experienced in.

The one thing this fake visionary did not see coming was the Tuan to beat all lesser tuans, the speedy arrival of Tuan Besar Covid Sembilan Belas which has screwed up all their plans.

What annoys them even more is the fact that the damned virus does not discriminate ...unlike them and all the Bersatu/UMNO/PAS ketuanans - which they do as a religious duty.

AG: NGO's claims on lack of prosecution guidelines way off mark

Attorney-General Idrus Harun has dismissed claims by a civil rights NGO that his office had failed to provide prosecutors with guidelines, leading to allegations of prosecutors going overboard in meting out punishments for those violating the movement control order (MCO). "Nothing could be further from the truth," said Idrus (photo) in a statement issued today in response to claims by Eliminating Death And Abuse In Custody Together (Edict) that unlike other institutions involved in the administration of justice, the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) had failed to issue guidelines to prosecutors to ensure even-handed implementation and enforcement of the MCO. He said guidelines and directives are regularly issued to the deputy public prosecutors (DPPs). "The DPPs are also governed by a code of ethics. Monitoring of court cases involving breaches of MCO is done every day by the head of the Prosecution Division and his deputies." Idrus added that DPPs are required to send a report on those cases daily to the AG. "As an example, DPPs were reminded recently to be particularly sensitive to cases involving juveniles to ensure they are not remanded except in the most unavoidable of circumstances and they are treated in a court for children under the Child Act." He, however, said some matters, like remand and sentencing, are not within the purview of the AG.

Edict has alleged selective policing and prosecution for breaching the MCO. Earlier this month, it cited the case of a 61-year-old cardiologist who was brought to a courtroom in handcuffs after being nabbed while jogging, students at a college in Penang who were handcuffed and chained together, poor fishermen unable to pay RM1,000 fines and a starving Form Six student languishing in Marang prison because his family could not raise RM800 bail. Edict had also claimed that some VIPs and politicians had gotten away with committing MCO violations. Idrus said the actions and decisions of the AG, as well as those of the DPPs, are based on powers and responsibilities conferred by the Federal Constitution and the law. "Edict appears to have made the erroneous assumption that just because they have not sighted any directives or guidelines by the AG, therefore there must be none." "This is not true. DPPs, as well as the police and the court, have been working hard under novel conditions while potentially exposing themselves to the risk of infection," he said. Idrus added that while the AGC, being a public institution, welcomes criticism of its actions, they should be constructive and based on facts duly established and not on conjecture and diatribe which are not fact-checked.
