Yeah guys....Demographics as well. The UK population has a significant numbers of elderly people (median age 40.5) that Malaysia (median age 28.5) does not have and these are the most vulnerable.

Hope this does not change in next few weeks. The most vulnerable part of soceity was left out in previous effort despite being highlighted by various quarters.
Was there a fear that the probable high figures amongst the foreign community will tarnish the good numbers that were being achieved?
There was too much effort and attention in "balik kampong" issues and too little on the foreign workers.
Or is there a political angle? I.e to have good numbers to show the PN Govt is functioning.

I can only ask questions. People in charge will know better.
