I am very surprise when saw cheah name in sign. If you all dunno, value partners and cheah is one of the best hedge fund in asia. Cheah is Malaysian. His partner is hong kie, who is 2nd generation of a tycoon if not wrong. They have been following fundamental investing tightly and doing very well.

Yet! I didnot invest into sign. Why? Property slowdown, so will sign! Beware now. Their current orderbook might not last very Long now. Tht whythey urgently need to refurbished their book. In such desperate situation, maybe squeezed margin in profit....??

SIGN not up ? SIGN will break new high soon and its next target will be RM3.08.
Agreed, property slow down will impact SIGN, but SIGN is quite secure because 2015 - 2017, there will be alot of service apartment and SOHO, alot of contracts waiting SIGN to complete this few year, my personal TP will be RM4.5.

SIGN up from rm1.7 to rm 2.75 in 5 months (Feb-July 2015), increase of 61%, still consider not performing? paperlane2 u must be kidding....yes, maybe it not shoot up crazily like IFCAMC or other stocks, but i like it cause it increase steadily and i wont get heart attack when the market down...if they venturing into China then I will be the one who worry, cause whole world knows China's economy is slowing down, from this comment alrd know paperlane2 sucks in analysing market...

oh well, the Q4 report by end of August will speak for SIGN, I am all in for SIGN!

Well, think future! Sustainable not? Of course not! There is alag of 6 months, to 1 year. What you see how due to property up last 1,2 years! Next 1, 2 years sign will be in deep shit. Since they so expose to Malaysia property MKT and no diversification

hmm...paperlane2, if u have no trust in SIGN, just dont bother it, no need to come here to spread rumors or give your "constructive" comments...just put it simple, population is growing, every year people buy houses, and kitchen is the essential part of a house, as long as people need houses to stay, then there is opportunity for SIGN...yes, diversification can reduce the risk, but it should not be any concern if the company is doing good in its own field, moreover do remember it is the pioneer in the field.

oh well...paperlane2, if i have time like you, i will do more study on other stocks to find out if there is any other "yet-to-be-recover-jewellery-stock" like SIGN, rather than shouting and barking at here to prove how valid is your points, I am not afraid at all, SIGN will always be one of the stocks to hold in my portfolio...but anyway, thanks for your comments and it does really make me read back all the information about SIGN, and the more i study, the more I am firm with my selection.

p/s: if you like those companies with DIVERSIFICATION, you may opt for SIME, really, it diversified its operations to so many diversions and so many countries, and see "how good" is its stock performance now. It hits all your points, first, not only in property which you claim already slowed down, second, got business operation at China! woots! go ahead guy!
