I did show him how I valued this stock. :-)
Surprisingly the analyst from the investing brokers actually gave lower intrinsic value to TSH; thus I was a bit over-generous. However, I ask for a high margin of safety to protect against imprecision, bad luck or error in my analysis.

When Cpo was Rm2200 in year 2019 cost of production was Rm1400

profit of Rm800 only sufficient to pay bank loans, overheads and wages leaving little for dividend if any

now that Cpo is Rm4000 a ton and cost has risen to Rm2,000 the profit has increased to Rm2,000

So after using Rm2000 to pay higher fertilizer and labour cost there is still Rm2000 Extra

more than enough to pay bank loan plus lots of EXTRA CASH TO PAY HIGH DIVIDENDS

Interestingly, I do own Bonia, one of the 10 stocks in the hero of NETX, calvintaneng's above list. It so happened that it is one of the two stocks that made a gain in his list. Yes, Bonia is the biggest winner in the above list. I must have done something not wrong. :-)

I bought Bonia in 2019 at 80 sen. It went up to 1.20 and I did not sell. Then it dropped to much much lower. Today it is much much higher. I have written on why I bought into Bonia in the Bonia thread a few weeks ago.

Are we also surprised and amazed by the hero of NETX, calvintaneng's ebullience and broadcasting his fantastic fortune on BONIA and OPCOM, and cunningly silent on the other stocks. That is the hero of NETX in this forum.

Perhaps, he will write a follow up article on his 10 stocks pick. It is also honest to admit his mistakes (if he think this to be so). In my book, I always thought the integrity of the hero of NETX is doubtful.

Two good factors about palm

1. Palm oil is used as food and consumer Staples in cooking oil, bread, biscuit, ice-cream, toothpaste, washing detergent and infant milk formula

2. As biofuel and next month B30 will increase to B35 soaking up an extra 2 million tonnes of Cpo at 13 mil ton from 11 mil ton

Every two weeks lorries will enter palm oil estates to harvest Ffb to sell for cash

cost of Ffb production is Rm300(includes fertilizer and labour)

Sale is Rm800
profit if Rm500

more than 100% profit

best of times for palm oil small holders

now that Both Malaysia and Indonesia banned conversion of forest to palm oil there is very little new palm oil lands

As such existing palm oil co if want to expand must buy from others

That is why bplant spent Rm750 millions buying Sabah palm oil estates from Dutaland

KLK took over entire listing of Ijmplant for Rm3.10(from Rm2.20)

All who got palm oil lands will see price premium

With Fed raising interest rates indebted companies like Yinson already got Rm10 billion debt will see higher loan interest

Yinson if pay 5% bank int already incur an interest cost of Rm500 Millions

if interest rate should double then interest payment alone will be Rm1 Billions

how to pay then?

Current earnings only cover current interest payment
There is no FCF or Free cash flow

Yinson just asked for help by giving out Rights at Rm1.14

Be prepared to see Yinson asking for more monies

Cash rich palm oil co like Hs Plant, Taann, Inno, Sop and later Tsh and Jtiasa will benefit if interest rates go up

Ha Plant is sitting on Rm498 millions in Cash

so rising interest rate will be good
