The land plot situated at Demak Laut Industrial Park is near Borneo Convention Centre Kuching( BCCK) and in the vicinity of other Industrial parks.

Your mention of the land situated at the remote place is untrue and misleading.

To manufacture spun piles for utilities and prefab bridge spans, you need a large piece of contigous Industrial Land.
These spun concrete utilities poles and prefab's are maximum length 40 footers to be able to be transported.
Moving 40 footers inside a factory needs large land area.
To prevent lawsuits, these concrete products factories must be in remote areas as concrete dust created during manufacturing process is toxic.

Fed and State Govts always pump huge amounts of money into construction companies during recession, a well known and much studied method by professors called economic pump priming.

Unlike Lynas where a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is required to separate and process Rare Earth materials , involving disposal of wastes etc , SCIB need not to be located in a remote place as mentioned above. As long as it is operated inside the designated heavy Industrial zone", it is fine. It must be close to the port for ease of transportation of end products by Sea.
