According to the SoP Valuation by CIMB, Kraken contributes 12 sens to the value of BAB at 69 sens end of year. We already lost 18 sens. So market already priced in no production until the end of 2024, or next 18 months.
If Kraken is started and operates fully next month, there will be necessity to reprice this inconsistency.

Hong Leong Investment Bank (HLIB) said yesterday that Armada Kraken FPSO has a daily charter rate of about US$480,000 per day (US$175 million per year) and this accounts for approximately 35 per cent of the group’s revenue contribution in the financial year 2022 (FY2022).

We already lost 1 billion myr. So to get to one billion in 500k USD increments, I think you need about 500 days per your data too, according to HLIB

1 000 million / 0.5 mln -day / 4 (myr to USD) = 500 days

So we lost again 1.5 years of revenue per market cap.

Calculation in ringit (2 mln ringit per day)

1,000 mln / 2 mln-day = 500 days

Nothing is alright with armada. It is expected to take at least 6 months to rectify the "shut in".

~8.6 mill shares shorted yesterday compare to ~6.3 mill shares the day before. Net short at 0.27% up from 0.15% of 2 days trading. If weak buying support expect more blood bath. Is not about fundamentals anymore.

FBSO is said to be " shut in" meaning available oil or gas which is not being produced from the existing system in the vessel.

Haha those days we do have issue with Kraken. If I remember correctly Armada at one time was suspended from trading due to Kraken. Due to this Leon Harland was replaced with Gary Christensen.

Haha Not sure whether Sifu Mickey Mouse lost or not however he went missing when Armada rocket to 54...

That the issue arose even before AGM and till now remains unresolved is bad. It’s normal to stop for 2-3 weeks due to unexpected production outage and to bring forward future maintenance work in that period. This normally doesn’t entail bursa announcement.
Now we know this issue will b around for a while as alternative solutions, which may compromise output, are being considered. Management is looking at weeks of shut-in. It’s safe to assume loss of revenue for 2 months and some capex. All-in, if the final damage comes within RM300m, it’s a blessing enough.
