If u bought 1.35, you should sell back at 1.35 n lose on brokerage.

If not, you will lose 20 cents a piece bcause its coming down to 1.14.

if brent up to $130, not only shorty but i too will pee in my pant. Getting too scary as eventually everything will go up. Transport charges will increase and thus cause everything up. Hyperinflation coming. Keep cash also die because it get devalue

Once in a blue moon, got stupeeeed fund comes to hand out free money at market close.

They do that on a handful of stocks today like cimb, maxis, maybank etc. And hibiscus is one of them. Lucky you!

When you see these huge volume come to buy few bids above market price between 4.45 and 4.50 pm, you quickly key in way below asking price to make sure you get this free money at 4.50 pm. Bcause the next day price will open gap down to the 4.45 pm last done price.

I hv tasted these free money quite a number of times before. It came out of the blue, without warning, between 4.45 to 4.50 pm.

Perhaps it came out of the blue becuase hibiscus is way too cheap.. If they handed screwed up there off take timing for Q3 the shareprice would be at 1.60+ by now.. So 1.40 looks like a bargain.. And with oil at 120 (130 for hibiscus) it's not going down tomorrow..

Month end window dressing I'm guessing, from 1.35 to 1.40 without gap very unusual.... but then again Brent shot up too, as well as usual vs RM, tripple whammy gain for hibiscus... Brent up, RM down since crude sold in USD, and 2m boe awaiting Q4 sales.

@nazrzach .... no thats not correct, q3 showed overall profit of 307m, which includes 317m gain of -ve goodwill (as IFRS says any -ve goodwill shd be charged to profit and loss account). Therefore to get to the "real" profit before -ve goodwill, its 307 - 317 = -10.... but mngt justified this loss by saying that they were short of 1 offtake which did not take place, otherwise i guess it would have been perhaps 20-25m profit. Remember q3 only sold about 500,000 boe, which is low, in the whole of q1-q3 total sales was 2.6m boe. Lastly, mnt forecasts that they will sell 2m boe in q4. This q4 sale will most probably (unless brent crashes in June) be at higher per unit sale compared to q3 and previous quarters. Hope this is clear.

Actually, crude oil above USD100 pbl is already very profitable for o&g companies. Whether is USD110 or USD120, it's matter of earning more or a lot more.r
In view that, 2 major o&g companies ; Serba and Sapura have collapsed, that leaves the investing community with only Yinson, Dialog, and Hibiscus in Bursa.
