When other BLUE chips correct and market running out of ideas, IOIPG will be a good alternative, because they have strong cash flow, margin and brand. Hopefully it comes soon.

10 cents dividend? TA estimate the normalised EPS is 0.155. I think IOI may not meet this estimated EPS due to poor performance. The dividend payout rate is below 50% (Estimated around 40% or less).

IOIPG will be the favourite when other overvalued big cap stocks correct. Like its plantations, its ROE is higher because they own lands that are bought many years ago. That is why it deserve higher PE, especially when there is a slowdown, the smaller developer will suffer (mainly on financing). Earnings are delayed due to RPGT introduced by Government.

According to Bursa Malaysia, EPF is still holding 291,137,330 shares, equal to 8.99%.

I bought 5000 units at RM 4.10 on first day of listing.
Since then it keeps drop till I cut loss at RM 2.67 and suffer RM 2300 loss.
I use the fund bought CMSB in April.
Yesterday sold CMSB, I had gained back loss of IOIPG with extra profit.
If I still hold, suffer more loss and don't know when can recover.

My colleague still holding 10,000 units bought at RM 3.03 and 5,000 units bought at RM 2.75, hope IOIPG will rebound to RM 3.00

A common expectation of any stock that a buyer bought must goes up within a certain time as what the buyer anticipate. Failing which, they will be cursing. Well, then you have to look back at your original objective, if you said, 6 months must goes up 20%, then it didn't meet their objective.

For this particular stock, I believe, must be more patient, mainly due to the government tightening. Of course, for buyer that don't have time on their side, should sell and buy some shares that he or she think can goes up 20% in 6 months. But honestly, how sure are we?

psychology plays alot here. It's either investors are more emotional and in plain denial, hoping for a favorable turnaround for the share price to climb back, or they be rational, take some courage and cut loss, and breakeven their initial investment by entering another counter.

Result is ok, may further accumulate this counter especially the price is below rm2.4
