bplant didn't up coz the almost all proceeds from this land sale will go to pay for Dutaland purchase. so dont expect special dividend from this new land sale.

speakup, wrong... the sales of the previous land is used for dutaland... the sales of 3 pieces of land now is to settle loan and pay tax... which will save loan interest of RM5mil annually...

I'm happy with the dividend, but at the same time i'm also worry as the dividend is always higher then the earning....but i'll still hold it and monitor.

Excluding profit for sale of land and subsidiary, profit for core business had improved by 50% YoY. Q4 performance is outstanding, production had increased significantly to match the decrease in CPO price. Q1 FY18 will be even a better qtr as CPO price had increased, at the same time BP is still enjoying the interest savings from settlement of revolving loan.

For Q2, there will be mixture of higher interest expense offset by higher production due to the new Sabah land. And for Q3, the profit from sale of Penang land will be realized.

Well, no point of having a big cash pile while you are fully loaded with loans, isnt it? Their cash pile are being used to repay revolving loan, reusing the revolving loan to pay for the Sabah land next qtr, bear in mind they have very low gearing (in other words self sufficient) all these while and have a habit of selling non core land on annual basis to fund free up their cash flow too.
