Very interesting! Suggests company was prepared to release and meanwhile directors were busily trading! That included selling of warrants and buying of 2m shares! That itself is a big issue in my mind.

My 2 cents, the suspension most likely is to prevent ppl take advantage on price hiking with insider information.Especially the action taken was by bursa. If it's really a bad SIR, usually is the company will request to suspend and will appeal to bursa for more time for investigation. Any thoughts?

Really shameful and questionable behaviour by all…no winners. Bursa should have taken action long time ago. Now Monday will be panic day…all because trading was not suspended when the report was issued to Serba management. It should have been suspended then! These guys know the contents which cannot be good surely! Look the last qtr results were down why! Because could not set up fictitious not verified sales debtors….my assumption which is heart of the year end issue.

Nope not correct. Company will usually request to halt the trading if there are good news like bonus issue or some acquisition. Company can't request halting if the SIR turn out badly.

This suspension is by bursa after they are suspicious on the insider trading.

Look like the boss try to sell his warrant and pump on the mother share because he know the SIR is positive from the biweekly report provided to the company!! Bursa identify it and suspend the counter because of suspicious activity. Surely, the impact of the positive is SIR will have significant up trend on the share~~

Some corrupt or fools see there is still hope after this debacle! Market works on trust how can you trust the directors when they cannot be relied on busy dealing in company own shares!

The accounting issue was simple not a complex investment trading product like sold by Lehman Bros…this is a simple as you get! You record sales and post a receivable ….which could not be verified! the big debtor outstanding could have been picked up by year 1 ACA student! Question did they verify earlier debtors or was this first one from a suspect contract?

In short we know the Positive SIR will led to settlement from KPM5 and the amount will be able to pay off serba debt and sukuk issuance!!
And more importantly, regain the trust of EPF and IB~~ Just imagine EPF topping up to their 7-8 % like previous and other IB topping another few percents!!
The road to RM1.5ish will come really fast!!

Looks like SIR is negative, and Chef did not release the SIR results, the kitchen is contaminated with bacteria. It looks like KPMG is right after all and corresponds with the much earlier refusal of the old BOD or rather Chef refusing to heed KPMG advice for an independent review of the issues raised by the ex auditors. The end is near.

The director mother share already morgage to bank, so cant sell, only his warrant share can sell by himself, so he disposed all the warrant.
