They still profiting services yes but people will renew their road tax along with insurer now. Delivery is advantage of myeg and it wasnt mandatory anymore.

Partly correct, as there are many choices which I found during the last 2 years MCO.
Before MCO, I just let the original car service agent handle my insurance and road tax. Due to restriction of movement during MCO, I have renewed my 2 cars insurance thro' 2 different eWallet offering.
For my newer car, I saved around 1.3k inclusive with delivery charges as I can choose the insured value with an option of few insurance packages. Later on, the second eWallet gave a better rebate package, I saved close to 0.5k for my old junk insurance and road tax..I am not promoting any particular ways of road tax renewal, therefore not naming the eWallets, only sharing choices to save money in this tumultuous financial crisis.

People tend to forget that MYEG is an IT company. Paying service is the small part of their income. They make money thru their system. With government trying to break monopolies in their delivery system, more tenders will open up. MyEG stands to be the frontrunner either making the bids for itself or providing IT to the winning bidders.

These so called IT companies are just brokers operating virtually.
Making a cut from transaction. It is high tech kampung samseng collecting toll. They do not make life better, but increase cost.

Blockchain is a criminal activity operated by scammers. Better not to deal with it. Monopolies are suppose to provide world class service and make citizens life easier. Unfortunately, here it is opposite. Even basic transportation does not do justice. Haphazard planning and coordination. Untimely service and frequent breakdown. Failure in communication. They only do fire fighting service like a fireman attending to fires. Monopoly means no competitors and worries of loss. But somehow these monopolies incur mind boggling losses. It is like giving group of monkeys a garland!

I would rather see changes in the mindset of the government. Let all the public listed company to bid on all government or GLC projects. No more RM2 company owned by or have relations to politicians.
