Bagaimanapun Hatta menyeru rakyat dan penyokong Pakatan Rakyat agar meneruskan persediaan jentera pilihan raya sementara menanti tarikh rasmi dengan persiapan yang sepatutnya.

"Jangan terlalu kecewa dengan waktu dan tarikh pembubaran sehingga menjejaskan gerak kerja kita," katanya.

Apabila diminta tarikh yang akan dipilih Najib Tun Razak, Hatta menjangkakan pembubaran parlimen akan berlaku pada hujung bulan sama ada 28 hingga 30 Mac ini.

Terkini, Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) akan menjalankan sisatan berhubung penyebaran maklumat atau berita palsu menerusi internet dan SMS ekoran maklumat palsu mengenai pembubaran Parlimen yang tersebar di beberapa laman sosial semalam.

Berita palsu yang memetik kononnya kenyataan itu dikeluarkan oleh perdana menteri, tersebar di laman-laman sosial kira-kira 12.30 tengah hari, selepas perdana menteri dilihat keluar daripada Istana Negara pagi semalam.

Ekoran berita palsu itu, Pejabat Perdana Menteri menafikan khabar angin kononnya Dewan Rakyat dibubarkan bagi membolehkan pilihan raya umum ke-13 diadakan. - harakah

SELAMA – Bekas Exco Pemuda Umno Larut, Zulkifli Minhat mendedahkan, banyak masalah berlaku dalam Umno terutama ...di peringkat kampung, yang menjadi punca beliau meninggalkan parti itu setelah sekian lama dan pernah menjadi exco pergerakan itu pada 2008.

Zulkifli yang kini menyertai Pas mendakwa, terlalu banyak penyelewengan serta penyalahgunaan kuasa berlaku dalam Umno terutama melibatkan pemberian bantuan dan sebagainya.

Katanya, beliau melihat kebanyakan bantuan diberikan kepada mereka yang tidak sepatutnya dan selepas melihat sendiri keadaan seumpama itu kerap berlaku, timbul rasa tidak suka dengan cara kerja dijalankan.

"Kita sebagai orang muda tak dapat terima keadaan itu kerana di peringkat kampung, masih ramai individu atau keluarga yang susah dan memerlukan tetapi tidak mendapat hak mereka.

"Jika keadaan itu berterusan, Umno tidak akan ke mana kerana rakyat tahu menilai. Kerana itu saya ambil keputusan menyertai Pas dengan harapan boleh berkhidmat kepada rakyat," katanya kepada Sinar Harian, semalam.

Zulkifli turut mendakwa keputusan menyertai Pas juga disebabkan peranan golongan muda seolah-olah tidak dihargai dalam Umno apabila mereka seumpama tidak boleh bersuara atau memberi sebarang pandangan.

Beliau juga mendakwa, keadaan berkenaan sebagai punca beliau tidak pernah hadir ke mesyuarat atau sebarang aktiviti selama memegang jawatan exco pemuda dan merasa kecewa apabila tindakannya menyertai Pas seolah-olah menimbulkan rasa tidak puas hati sesetengah pihak.

"Beberapa orang ahli keluarga saya pernah terima ugutan. Saya harap perkara begini tidak berulang dan sekiranya tidak puas hati, sila datang jumpa saya sendiri untuk dapatkan penjelasan. Jangan jadikan ahli keluarga saya tempat meluahkan perkara tidak sepatutnya. Pada saya ia tindakan tidak matang," katanya.

Sementara itu, Ketua Pemuda Umno Bahagian Larut, Mohammad Annuar Ariffin mengesahkan Zulkifli keluar Umno, namun menganggap ia bukan satu kehilangan besar kerana mendakwa Zulkifli tidak pernah memberi sebarang sumbangan selama memegang jawatan itu.

Menurut Mohammad Annuar, selepas menang dan menjadi exco Pemuda, Zulkifli langsung tidak pernah hadir mesyuarat atau sebarang aktiviti dan mendakwa, kemungkinan Umno sudah tiada dalam hati Zulkifli.

"Pemuda Umno Bahagian Larut sudah buat surat untuk dipanjangkan ke peringkat atasan agar Zulkifli dipecat. Selepas ini kita tidak akan terima lagi individu seumpamanya dalam Umno.

"Kita tiada masalah atau halangan untuk beliau menyertai Pas. Lebih-lebih lagi tiada satu pun komitmen yang beliau berikan kepada Umno selama memegang jawatan Exco Pemuda Umno Bahagian Larut," katanya.

Zulkifli bersama 39 ahli Umno lain, membuat pengumuman dan menyerahkan borang keahlian Pas kepada Naib Ketua Pemuda Pas Malaysia, Dr Raja Ahmad Iskandar Al-Hiss pada program Ceramah Perdana anjuran Pas Larut yang turut dihadiri Setiausaha Pemuda Pas Negeri, Salman Saleh, baru-baru ini.

UMNO's sex blogger an ex-traffic cop convicted of bribery

Mar 21: Blogger Wan Muhammad Azri bin Wan Deris, the man behind UMNO's explicit blog Papagomo which specialises in vilifying opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, was once convicted of bribery to help a friend arrested for drug abuse.

The blogger's name can be found on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's online database showing those convicted of bribery.

According to the entry (see here), Azri (pic), who was slapped with a RM100 million defamation suit by Anwar today, was found guilty on two counts of bribery to release Mohd Rahyudi bin Mokhtar, who was found with syringes used for drug abuse, in 2004.

Azri, a former police traffic officer at Ampang police station, violated Section 10(a)(bb) of the Corruption Prevention Act 1997 (Act 575), according to information on the MACC database, and was sentenced to 8 months' imprisonment, or 14 days' jail and RM10,000 fine.

The High Court and Appeal Court have both rejected his appeals.

Earlier, Anwar filed a RM100 million defamation suit against Azri for accusing him of homosexual intercourse.
