Remeber also other bank has 1mdb loan except cimb. The systematic risk fallout if 1 mdb fail will affect maybank, rhb and ambank the most because of the loan. Cimb did not take any stake in 1mdb.

On the bright side today increase a lot. Based on chart, the resistance at 4.9 will be new support and could slingshot share higher range of price at RM 5.2 to RM 5.3. Just my analysis.

That was actually my mindset 2-4 years ago, the consequence is paper loss of RM10k and opportunity cost of 2-4 years. Luckily the batch which was purchased in 2009 brought in some profit to neutralize the loss.
Therefore do not judge current value by comparing to past price. Good luck.
