We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 20 June 2019, 13 September 2019, 26 December 2019 and 28 January 2020 in relation to the Proposed Disposal (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the abbreviations and definitions used in the Announcements shall apply herein.



On behalf of the Board of Directors of Paramount, RHB Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that the disposal consideration in respect of the Proposed Disposal has been fully settled on 20 February 2020, marking the completion of the Proposed Disposal on even date.



The final disposal consideration after adjusting for Paramount’s share of notified leakages is as follows:

Paramount was also entitled to a Locked Box Compensation of RM30.69 million pursuant to the SPA. Hence, the additional net amount received by Paramount was RM28.70 million (being the Locked Box Compensation less Paramount’s share of notified leakages), to be utilised by Paramount Group for general working capital purposes such as payments to contractors, suppliers and consultants, sales and marketing expenses, staff cost and rental.

According to today's The Star the Co intends to expedite the distribution of RM177mil allocated as special dividend to the shareholders pending the Board's decision on the entitlement basis and date of distribution.
I think it's timely to load up at the current price. Good luck!

Paramount will have board meeting before Q4 result release which is either today or tomorrow.

In these coming board meeting, the date of entitlement to distribute RM 177m (29sen/share) as special dividend will be decided. Paramount will make bursa announcement on date of entitlement and date of distribution

Paramount have ALL element of bullish. Higher revenue + higher profit + low PE valuation < 6x + higher annual dividend payout with yield 5% + special dividend 29sen/share + board director expect 2020 will deliver even stronger result than 2019.

Warrant is oversold, maybe some people did not understand that special dividend will not affect warrant because its exercise price will be adjusted according. Only regular or normal dividend affected the warrant negatively.
