Seems like they are trying to give everyone a lifetime ban.. before they even roll the dice! Next, they'll be penalizing people for just walking by the casino!!!
When everyone is worried, a true leader provides hope and encouragement. On the other hand, a leader who imposes bans and spreads fear before all the facts are known only fuels uncertainty and mistrust.
Mathew Bowyer appeared in federal court and entered his guilty plea on Friday, 09 August 2024. Before that date, he had not yet admitted responsibility for the crimes. His formal acknowledgment of guilt occurred with his plea on 09 August.
Before Mathew Bowyer pleaded guilty on 09 August 2024, he was legally considered innocent. He wasn't recognized as a criminal until he admitted guilt in court.
Blocking someone from a casino during legal negotiations can be problematic because:
1) They're still legally innocent. 2) Restrictions should only apply after a conviction. 3) It could be considered discriminatory. 4) The casino might face legal and reputational risks.
Casinos usually can't identify if someone is involved in wrongdoing on their own. They rely on law enforcement or legal orders to find out and then take action to block those individuals.
Chill la Michael. Let the market decide. Investing long term you are not looking for an exit any time soon right? :p I'm queueing @ 4.20 to up my stake today :)
@choysun, Haha,.. that 4.20 is like a hidden gem! 😀 Remember, we’re in this for the marathon, not the sprint. Let’s hope today entry makes us smile for years to come! !!
Yes @Choysun for traders / trader cum investors who exited at 4.50 zone, if can manage to buy back at 4.20 zone that would be another 30 sen free "dividend". See the beauty here? They are still doing long term investing, like the savvy @DividendGuy67.
Those investors who got lured by scam posts to buy near 4.50 resistance zone may not have much confidence to buy again if price drops to 4.20.
Haha, everyone can be a hindsight expert. He sold at 4.50...let’s see if he can actually buy back at ....4.40?? 😂🤣 and show his strategy in action. Making a 30-cent profit sounds good in theory, but we willl see if he can really achieve it!!!
Genting QR to be released after market tomorrow 22 August. This time expecting Genting Plantation contribute bigger portion, GENM contribute higher than last Q to compensate disappointed Genting Singapore. Can 480M be achieved? Dividend 7sen?
It sounds like Balian is quite strategic with his moves. Using market actions and timing news releases to influence investor behavior can definitely be a masterful tactic. It’s impressive how he manipulates the market to his advantage.
Genting Malaysia Higher tourist arrivals likely lifted 2Q24F ■ We expect GENM’s Malaysian operations to post qoq and yoy improvements in 2Q24F following strong tourism data, especially in Chinese tourist arrivals. ■ Improved economic activity and tourism recovery should continue to drive GENM earnings growth throughout FY24F, in our view. ■ GENM is our top pick for exposure to a rebound in tourism. We believe its valuation is undemanding at 13.0x CY24F P/E with a c.6-7% dividend yield.
2Q24F likely strong from tourist arrivals boost at RWG Genting Malaysia (GENM) will be reporting its 2Q24F results on 29 Aug 2024F. We expect GENM’s Malaysian operations to post qoq and yoy improvements in 2Q24F revenue and EBITDA, following tourism data indicating that total tourist arrivals in Malaysia in 2Q24 rose 26% yoy and 3% qoq to 6.0m (Fig 1). This was mainly led by healthy recovery in Chinese tourist arrivals in Malaysia, with 2Q24 arrivals of 690k much stronger than the 320k arrivals in 4Q23 (Fig 2). Tourist arrivals from Singapore, Indonesia and India also increased, up 10%, 25% and 87% yoy, respectively, in 2Q24, according to Tourism Malaysia. We believe increased tourist arrivals helped drive business volumes at its gaming and non-gaming operations in Resorts World Genting (RWG), likely contributing to GENM’s revenue growth in 2Q24F. Disclosures from the New York State Gaming Commission also indicate that total gross gaming revenue (GGR) from its US operations rose 3.1% yoy and 2.0% qoq in the quarter (Fig 4). We believe this should have led to better performance from its US operations in 2Q24, which historically contributed c.18-20% of GENM’s revenue. Consumption and tourism growth to support GENM revenue growth We believe improved policy direction by the Malaysia government will be positive for economic growth in 2024F, with CGSI Research’s economics team forecasting 2024F real GDP growth of 4.6% yoy and private consumption growth of 6.5%. Further, in 2024F, the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture anticipates tourist arrivals in Malaysia to reach 27.3m (2023: 20.1m), with an expected income of RM102.7bn (2023: RM71.3bn). Aside from the positive catalysts above, we see cash handouts to lower income households in 2H24F, higher civil servant salaries from 2025F and Employees’ Provident Fund Account 3 withdrawals as incrementally positive for GENM’s revenue growth over the next 12 months. Reiterate Add with an unchanged SOP-based TP of RM4.00 We retain our Add call on GENM, as we expect a robust 3-year EPS CAGR of 42% in FY22-25F, and SOP-based TP of RM4.00 (Fig 6). At the current share price, GENM is trading at 13.0x CY24F P/E, 1.4 s.d. below its historical pre-Covid-19 mean P/E of 18x. While there are concerns over the Nevada gaming regulator filing complaints against Resorts World Las Vegas, run by GENM's parent company Genting Berhad, which could affect GENM's bid for a downstate casino licence in New York, we have not factored in any potential upside from its New York casino bid and only include GENM's land at book value in our TP. Key re-rating catalysts are stronger-than-expected Malaysian operations and better-than-expected operating margins. Downside risks are higher-than-expected operating costs and slower Malaysia gaming revenue recovery.

Ystrdy big red silent donkey - today green like monkey ‘buy weakness sell strength’ kikiki

Because I would not recommend to buy before Q2 result for this case. The risk is too high. Do you agree @MM? Or you bought already after using some fear mongering tactics recently?
ATK a ghost or not you decide lor. Hope some traders / trader cum investors here have read and exited promptly near the 5.20 top.
Then buy again at around 4.50 zone, exit at around 4.8+ zone. Then buy again at around 4.50 zone, exit at around 4.8+ zone. Then buy again at around 4.20 zone, exit at around 4.50 zone.
Its not difficult to trade this stock. ----------
I have never shorted a single GenB stock. Better watch the stock's price action, the market is already whispering something now.... *****************
Good traders would have exited at around 4.50 zone last week.
Cumulatively for 2024, it would be abt exiting the stock at over rm6.00 (initial exit near the 5.20 top + rm1.00 in trading profits). Thereafter, these traders will be in good mental state and have the courage to buy the dip at lower price levels when they deem fit.
Its definitely a very bad idea to listen to scam posts and buy near resistance zones. Will these people who kena scammed bought near resistance zone (lost money), still be in good mental state and have the super strong courage to buy when price becomes cheaper?
There is no need to predict the next price movement will be 5.50. Good traders already exited at equivalent of over 6.00.
Thinking of opening a new trading account just to keep up with all the short term excitement! 😁 Meanwhile, let's stay relaxed and enjoy the long term journey.
It’s clear that this forum is mostly focused on short term traders and bargain hunters, which explains why there's often pushback from those who prefer quick trades when we long term investors are feeling optimistic. For us, it's all about enjoying the journey and staying patient.
See.. @Koosan answered it for me... LKT holds 25 billions of cash but didnt waste it for SBB. He should know well about Genting than us... So where is the problem 🤭
Trader spot on recommended exit 5.20 zone, 4.80+ zone, 4.50 zone promptly despite all the bullish cheering then. Already giving the best presents for you to buy back cheaper thereafter. I cant be forever spoon feeding MM when to buy.
The sell off in big stocks indicates a shift in investment focus. This rotation might mean funds will soon flow into Genting. The key question is: when will this happen?
Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 8 minutes ago | Report Abuse if ATK says is correct 😁should go to 4.50 for you to dump sell ? ---------
It went around there last week when i posted the prompt warnings. But my posts were overshadowed by perma bulls cheering n luring the naive to HOLLAND + nonstop attacks on ATK by the jealous ones.
I have studied ATK's behavior and reactions for years. According to psychological principles, when he consistently believes others online are jealous of him, even without personal connections, it could be due to:
1) He might feel insecure and believe that envy from others can boost his self-esteem. 2) He may project his own feelings of jealousy onto others, assuming everyone else feels the same way. 3) He might want to feel important and believe that others are jealous to validate his sense of significance. 4) He could be misinterpreting online interactions, focusing on negative comments and ignoring positive ones.. 5) Previous experiences of jealousy might lead him to expect similar reactions online.. 6) He might overestimate his importance and assume that any negative reaction must be due to jealousy.
Posted by Michaelchan2024 > 10 minutes ago | Report Abuse With his extreme mood swings, it's like ATK was always getting BBQed. ---------- Posted by Michaelchan2024 > 3 minutes ago | Report Abuse You could almost smell the charred aroma. 😂 ----------
ATK not trading now, how to get BBQed? You have to stop these false accusations and slandering that ATK is shorting this stock. A shortist will never tell people here prompt warnings to exit at 5.20, 4.80+, 4.50 peak price zones.
Those who bought high, lost money and kena stuck always have strong motivation to continue their delusional cheerings to lure the naive to buy hoping price can stop going down OR make readers here confused so they wont sell the shares. But such tactics eventually wont work, will only skyrocket his followers to HOLLAND.
For MM its very predictable. Before he buys, he will do nonstop fear mongering. After he bought, immediately roti prata flip into nonstop cheering.
The most honest contributors will probably be from those who have no position and not trading this stock now. No self-centred motivation due to their trade / investment position. Purest form of honest advice. Immediately give warnings, immediately price collapsed.

You have to stop these spamming, false accusations and online attacks against ATK, the boy who gave prompt exit warnings at peak prices + pointed out the "Emperor has no clothes".
Ha ha, seems like we were spot on 1 year ago, we shouted buy!!! Missing out on that 4.00 to 5.20 rally would’ve been the real miss, don’t you think? 😁 Not dumb, just playing the long game!!!

I hope Genting management could resolved the issues before Q2 2024 results.
