Jtiasa's FFB harvest is actually pretty consistent and furthermore it is low season.

Jan'22 to Mar'22 will see good FFB harvests (low season) with good average CPO prices.

Invest in long term for big gains.

Dear "Dentab",

I do my own Excel-Sheet data mining on the the followings:

1. Monthly FFB including CPO & others - Actual Volume.
(This information is obtained from the listco's monthly announcement).

2. The Daily CPO Price & thus Monthly Average CPO Price - Actual Price.
(This information is obtained from MPOB on daily basis & Av. Monthly).

3. As I have informed since last 1-2 years, the oil palm industry which
involved the oil-palm listcos is most transparent (Above infor').

4. When you have the FCPO forecast which is daily informed in the market
and with all the above information in the Excel-Sheet, you may be able
to do your own computation of the estimated quarterly NPBT/NPAT.

5. Welcome to the world of transparent oil palm industry & market.

6. The rest such as Management of the listcos, etc, etc, please read
the Annual Report, Quarterly Financial Reports, & others.

Hope the above is of help to us & as for me. it has aided me well.

I want to be safe investor & make handsome financial gains.

Minimum wages will not effect plantation companies. Workers already paid way above minimum wages.

Posted by Jonathan Keung > 2022-02-21 09:45 | Report Abuse

They are looking for lots and lots of workers and paying above the minimum wage

Turnover surged 85% in 4Qtr21 in comparison with 3Qtr21.Any jump in CPO production and huge increase in CPO prices? or delay in harvesting due to flood.

If u read pg11 of the announcement, average sales price for oil palm improved by 39% QvQ, which is way above other plantation companies, due to futures?

Improve in sales volume by 40%? CPO production in 4Qtr21 merely up 8% to 39.6k tonnes in comparison with 3Qtr21.

CPO prices increased by 39%...so big jump in a quarter. BPlant has reported CPO prices up only 16.5% in 4Qtr21 against 3Qtr21.

"When compared to the immediate preceding quarter, current quarter’s revenue increased by 64% mainly as a result of 40% and 39% improvement in sales volume and average selling price of CPO
respectively."

Bplant is trending closely against the rest of the market announced to date of 12-20%. Now sales volume does not equals to production, it could also means Q2 production carried to be sold Q3, expecting Q3 price to be higher than Q2.

Berkshire Hathaway of Warren Buffet never ever pay any dividend at all
Why?

Dividend is taxable & Warren wants to save every cent so that he could snow ball the profit into the Best Investment Company on earth

This is 6 monthly results. Wait after 12 month full results FYE 30.6.2022 for dividend announcement. I expect resumption of dividend payment this year with good financial performance and accumulated cash in treasure chest. JTiasa below 0.80 is very cheap given improving fundamentals backed by NTA 1.25.

Bplant latest qtr FCF is 140+mm, on the back of 2.3b market cap
Jtiasa latest qtr FCF is 100+mm, on the back of 0.8b market cap (with timber division consider sleeping)

I'll go for Jtiasa if target to add more.

Jtiasa's timber division is a bonus waiting to take off...some not so savvy investors fail to take notice if this favourable factor into overall valuation consideration of the stock price.

There is a possibility of stock split to make the counter more liquid thus making more attractive to retail investors.

Stock split may make the share more amenable to more retailers especially those who lack much capital nevertheless eager to get into the market with an eye for some good performing palm oil counters like Jtiasa.

Receive good amount of cash dividend from the company’s profit is definitely different from selling your own share to pay yourself. Already, the current share + the total cash dividend received in the past 2 years for the 2 companies already tell you the difference. Bear in mind that the huge freehold development land bank of Bplant in west Malaysia is something Jtiasa can not match.
I share my honest view between the two. Choice is absolutely yours .

Can expect increasing FFB output in future because if my memory serves me right..the company undertook massive planting between 2010 and 2012...now these batch o these trees are at mature age and can expect increasing yield in future...
