In fact, Yes is not 4g but wimax at least until last year.
Present price is the quite low since Feb 2012. In 2013 feb and sep, there were the low peak then recovered again. Present trading activities a bit odd, morning huge volume at rm1.50 just to block you to get at rm1.50 (even key in at night for tomorrow trading also can't get) but late afternoon then come out huge volume sell at rm1.51. just want to scare off the retailers but it did't push further???

YTL is a Chinese name. Last Q profit increased by 40+% but problem is YES (Wimax service provider but using 4G name for marketing and get the license for 4G early of last year).
Look positive by end of trading (so far) as the volume to sell is very low.

In fact, present YTL price is at 2 years low ( low at Feb'13 & Sep'13). Coincident that each one is 7 months (Apr'14 is 7 mths from Sep'13).
Amazing was : each Q is at profit since 2002 (so far i can track)!! but only became stingy since 2010.

I believe YTL share is due to reverse, selling pressure is well absorb today. YTL still have treasury stock about 3.5% and can opt for share dividend 1 for 30. In addition, YTL stake in YTLP have increase about 5% after YTLP itself declare own share dividend, in which YTL entitle the most these additional stake. Therefore, upcoming Q result should account higher earning from YTLP

Wessex Water will not have big impact to YTL. The EPS of YTL is around 16 sen now. PE of YTL is around 10. Considered very cheap for a blue chip.

Wessex Water contribute 50% YTLP earning, On the other hand, YTLP contribute about 60% YTL earning. Therefore, the effective impact is about 30% on every change in Wessex water on YTL earning.

latest report from onion news said selangor state government want to buy wessex water from ytl power , a few high ranked british personnel is confirm it and rumours said they will use whatever it take to make ytl power sell it assets cheaply to selangor state government...

I think the price will only up if the dividend is more than the currently RM0.05. No matter how much they earn without dividend is also nothing. If this counter is so sensitive to good news then it already up many many times liao. Good news bring not much effect on this counter.

Still keep accumulate for every cent down. This recalled my previous investment in AZRB, Alam, Redtone and PRTasco. The good thing for YTL is didn't make any loss for past 12 years (not even a quarter), downtrend is limited (my estimated worst case may down to rm1.45) but uptrend chances are much much higher!
