Tony Fernandes initially plan back in October 2020 was looking the borders to open for flights in March 2021.

Looks like his plans is delayed at least till December 2021.

How much can the company continue to bleed on daily overhead fixed cost?

Actually the case in usa and uk are not drop obviously even with vaccine in dec 2020. the usa case is peak in the last few weeks is due to us election. and after the election over for 2 months, surely the case will drop back slightly.

no matter how good sentiment are....still no money flowing in for airasia....
gov limit mco till 4 feb coz mco negatively affect the economy at a crazy rate more than expected...hence gov have no choice despite they know no mco means covid case will increase at unimaginable rate. will be more than 4000 2 weeks after mco finish (2 weeks after 4feb)...the prediction of 8000new case in may will happen. (cannot be avoided)

at this time, air asia price will be reducing, as still no income....even no mco, travel restriction still continue.

vaccine? FYI vaccine does not prevent from being infected....its just helping body to produce antibody to fight the virus but still u will be infected if without social distancing and no mask 3ply.

Prospect? haha not so good for airasia
It is good for airasia if only gov cont mco till new case become double to single digit, then, off mco
If only single or double digit, there is no worry. local travel by plane will be allowed with sop and no worry for ppl to enjoy having vacation using airasia. so money flowing in


mco till 4 feb is not so effective. with case still 4 digit, then no mco........new case trend will turnaround and keeps multiplying.

i will say bad decision by gov n dg health to stop mco at 4th feb. maybe he get continuous pressure from politician. sad n sorry for him
