The Forbes article are talking about US airlines. US airlines are actually adding a lot more new routes for leisure travel while business travel drop to almost zero.

Q1 21 would be much worst than Q4 as interstate travel ban are fully in affect and wipe out the peak travel season. at the start of Q4 the tourism ministry was trying to revive the industry and more people that Q3 got to travel.

IBs give their TP based on current info with limited assumptions

Thats why gloves will dump..IBs alrdy start reduce glove TPs with current info..once future info actually come in, only then their TPs will revise even lower

IB current AA TP still low (though revised up recently) based on current info..once future data start coming in, only then their TPs will revise upwards

US and UK planning summer travel because they have vaccine. Now averaging 1.3 mil doses per day to be raise to 1.5. leisure travel also was not banned like in Malaysia . The two market are very different operating reality. The vaccination program not yet started in Malaysia and the gov at anytime can close down interstate travel for several months

Fyi MY not even in Top 100 in terms of cases per population..Asia countries doing much better than western prob b’coz our hot weather also

south east asian countries other than Singapore need 12 - 18 months to vaccinate to the level of herd immunity, The US and UK are on schedule to reach herd immunity during the summer. so how can we recover faster? anytime when new outbreak started the gov will use the same playbook of implementing MCO which mean interstate travel stop.
