A capital reduction with right issue maybe needed in near future solve this negative NTA issue. Airasia total equity is deficit RM 5.9billion as at 30.9.2021

now u know y the lr plunged from 7cent till 0.5cent.

No smart money will ever loan money to a bankrupt pn17 company at just 8% interest per annum.

The date of the first relief announcement is July 8, 2020, and the 18-month period ends on Jan 7, 2022. Any surprise?

Will this RCUIDs be affected by capital reduction eg 10 becomes 1 for existing ordinary shareholders? RCUIDs holders will still get covert 1 RCUID to 1 share of airasia post capital reduction?

its illegal to do Capital Reduction of Loan Stocks

Loan Stocks will come under Creditors Scheme with Court Order

Its very possible under Court order you might get RM0.001 for those RM0.75 that you will pay soon
and its possible RM0.001 for 1 lot ie 100 units of RM0.75

means RM0.001 for RM75.00 paid

dun forget its negative equity RM5.9 Billion.

thats means actually very lucky to be paid RM0.001 for RM75.00 paid
since technically you are supposed to get zero for those RM0.75 paid

Loan stocks will not get capital reduction. What i mean is Airasia ordinary shares may need to be reduced by 10 to 1 with another right issues again in near future to shore up balance sheet.

After all this "maybe capital reduction", will loan stocks holders get to covert 1 RCUID to 1 share of airasia post capital reduction?

of course if AA offers RM1.00 for the Danajamin RM500 million loan

then its only

RM5.4 Billion to be banked in by AA OR holders

any further discounts given by creditors will reduce this figure accordingly

example

if all AA ticket "refused refund" holders gleefully agree not to issue warrant of arrest to TF unlike Nagendran

then only need

5.9 - 0.5 - 1.0 => RM4.4 Billion
