Was looking for a stock with existing good fundamentals which will become stronger in the years to come based on current excellent financial results which will become better N better with recent news on business expansion N diversifications.
Found it in YTLPOWR.

wkc5567 is correct in calculating power consumption, the backup power supply should not be add in significant load to the system. paper peak power usage is at 10.2kw which will be close to true in real world.

dragon328, at any time, the system should not draw more than the rated power (10.2kw) else the component in the server will be damaged, so there is no point for a DC to reserve that another 10kw for idle power supply.

Its basically impossible for a 8xH100 server draw more than 10.2kw since each H100 rated max 700W only, image if they suddenly draw 20kw, that will be a fire disaster for that DC

Yes. Fund's will definety push up a few sector to window dress and cover up their less performing side. Expect more re balancing and re ratings especially now YTL and YTLP is added on to FTSE - Bursa KLCi and MSCI Malaysia largest 30 capitalisation companies. And in addition YTL recent tie up with Nvidia really put the spotlight on the low profile YTL gtoup

@sii581024, thanks for the confirmation on peak power demand of H100 GPUs. As said earlier, I am no expert on AI nor data centres, and am still struggling to learn more. I was just trying to calculate the implied capex for the AI data centre based on the power requirement of H100 GPUs. I have more clues now.

YTLP is traded at PE 7.6X now , and YTL traded at 14X , hence, YTLP is definitely undervalued stock .. on top of that , company do not have any near terms threads to their current and near future new business plan , really don't understand why the share price can not goes up above RM 3 ..

@harvest, my guess is its better for large fund to acquire ytl before ytlp...as rise in ytlp share price from accumulation will push ytl share price higher leaving lesser for cheaper price accumulation...
Another reason could be ytl revenue is more diversified and monopolistic..giving higher resilience in income for long term..
Another one could be, politicians and king could be aware of award of hsr to ytl..and multiple large scale construction projects are being placed in line for malaysia...

I studied the MCEMENT trend , it took them about 7 months to reach RM4.3 (from 2.5) , however , the PE is 21X , so I believe YTLP may need shorter time to achieve that as long as the EPS maintain at 8 to 10sens consistently..
