Scomi, IJM : Gets nod to list 348.87m new shares. Scomi Group Bhd has received Bursa Malaysia's nod to list up to 348.87m new shares upon the conversion of the MYR110m bonds issued to IJM Corp Bhd. The new shares, which will be at 10sen each, will be issued following the conversion of the bonds. The bond issuance is part of the corporate restructuring exercise undertaken by Scomi Group, which will see IJM Corp emerging as the single largest shareholder in Scomi, with a 25% stake. IJM's bond conversion price is approved at 36.5 per SCOMI share.
This is an increase in price from the earlier private placement to IJM at 35.
1st time, am seeing the public is having the same or lower price advantage as the promoter !

IJM must be the greatest fool on earth who wants to buy the 3 years bond issue with 0% coupon that converts to 36.5 per Scomi share.

And it stands to lose another at least 10% discount adjusting the 3 years holding to net present value !

Yes, there r no more true fund managers in KLSE edi.
All taking private proposals of plc thus far r successful to the great advantage n prosperity of the plc owners.

For 150mn to have controlling interest in parent company and both scomien and scomi energy, how is a bad deal in long run Purebull? That is provided the get the simple majority in EGM that was not suppose to happen in the first place! :)
