2 Warrants maturing soon. I dont know why they kept pushing the price below their strike price, probably to make sure there is enough room to cover when it rallies? It will rally, just a matter of time. Continue to average down is the best strategy. I think most likely it is CIMB pushing down the price.

No point promoting here, your comment is not going to effect the share price. If the bankers want to throw and depress the price, there is nothing we can do. Unless the directors and company comes out and hold the line like QL... but eventually QL also gave up defending the price.

Only time can determine the price. a good qr will boost the price, that's all.

cimb throwing again.... if you see any counter with CIMB warrant... you know why it drops. I always thought Fintec is the biggest great white shark and manipulator, but it appears CIMB is the biggest of all - megalodon shark.

CIMB has a call warrant expiring on 29th Oct @ RM5.5, and they will try their best so that the price doesn't exceed 5.5. They have to depress the price so that any new projects Yinson win this 3rd quarter will not push the price exceed 5.5.

That's my take, maybe it is not true, just my imagination.

Mercedes is already going for 100% electric cars in just a short while more.
UK is on course to ban crude oil for cars in just few more years.

Oil assets will be left stranded and of not much value.

Kenanga Research was right, this is like asking a girl out for the first time and she ditched you, then you go ask her out the second time, but this time you are the only boy, unlike the first time when there are many boys.... and yet, when you are the only boy she still ditches you. I think this is good news. This Petrobras deal sucks, already so low yet they still cancel.

Some more Yinson needs RI to get this project going, without this, Yinson can move on with other projects and not 'sell' part of their other charter to fund this loss making project. Which will cost RM1.3B where the RM1B will come from RI and 300 via Capital Recycling.

Forget about Petrobras, focus on others. Am so glad no Rights Issue is on the table now.

I mean to be honest, it's not like Yinson will purposely bid for a project that is net negative. This had a long-term charter, and was relatively large. In a few years Yinson has the potential to self-fund new large scale projects solely from the FCF of its ongoing projects.

I'm a bit sad at this though, Yinson now has "ammo" to bid for a large scale project in West Africa. I want Bumi Armada to land one large scale project there. Hope Yinson doesn't spoil the party.

If it is net positive, Yinson would have done everything to win this bid the second time, right? Maybe lower the bid even more. In the article, it says both parties cannot come to an agreement. This means either the bid/terms is too high for Petrobras or too low for Yinson.

If Yinson wants to win this project with even lower bid via raising Rights Issue, might as well wait it out since Yinson is the only bidder. Better save the capital and deploy it somewhere else.

Even if the PDB tender falls through, Yinson still has 5 other firm tenders (USD4b capex) to choose from that offer better contract and ESG-related terms as well as better financing and cost structures. We think it may need to do a cash call if it secures 2 or more projects by 4Q21. Our estimates are unchanged for we had not included PDB in our TP. Winning any of these five projects could lift our earnings/ NPV.
