I made what some may consider an “operator move” in Texchem today at 4:36:47pm bcoz I recognized the patterns. Not only in Texchem but market-wide

I trade. I read stuff here mostly for amusement esp wrt how folks here try to influence and manipulate but I ignore such traps :)

Tmrw is Friday. US FUTURES are tanking. But US went down last Fri and KLCI shot up on this Mon. You must understand a bit of how it all works. I know very little but enough to adhere to my mantra “Protect”

Lol VTrade, US market is 10x easier than Malaysian market. Oil stocks actually move in tandem with crude oil prices. Only in Malaysia, plantation stocks move in the opposite direction. Local fund managers like Areca Capital, Affin Hwang, RHB Capital all suffered major losses, not just retail investors

Plantation stocks.

Just ask a plantation owner. Perhaps you are one yourself.

Small plantation holders are happy the last few months. The CPO prices were high and their small holdings were generating higher income. A good yielding well maintained plantation yields RM 1,500 per acre (net profit). In past, this ranged from RM 600 to less than RM 1,000 per acre.

For the larger plantation holders, they too have benefited. However, due to severe labour shortages, not all their fruits could be harvested and for some, this reduced income was "painful".

For the oil palm refiners, they had to pay more for their input CPO and this required increased working capital. The smaller refiners find their financials stretched and this was stressful for them too.

Short seller operators need to cover theirs shorting activities . They create bad news so that they can buy cheap . if u got spare cash , top up more. n hold tight

last QR, TSH reported ASP of around RM4700. so go figure out what they gonna make if CPO is at RM5000.

I already mentioned I’m extra wary of commodity-dependent companies. The local plantation index must clear a 7,800 index. Next would be 8,200. If it breaks through confidently 8,200 (EMA Cross 7/21), then we’ll see a nice expressway

Applies to almost all plantation companies, not just TSH. No plantation company is resistant to overall market situations worldwide unfortunately

Yes i see Tsh morphed into a great real estate investment like you do

Once i visited puchong in year 1991

It was just a rubber estate and all rubber trees with a few huts

Today Puchong is thriving with puchong ioi mall

So i envision Nusantara to be much more glorious than Puchong one day

Buying into Tsh to own those 94700 acres of prime lands in nusantara at 13 sen book value makes me feel very happy

Just like buying houses or lands for long term investment

Tsh bought those Kutai lands a decade ago around Rm5k an acre or 13 sen psf

Today the value in Nusantara is more than Rm7 to Rm40 psf depending if it is road frontage or 2nd layer
