No signal to buy yet. Wait for the dust to settle and also US Debt ceiling issue settle. Remember that cheaper could be cheaper next...so just have to wait.

As of today didnt see any announcement that it had been sold. So you can take it that the sales is not done yet. GIC already inform agent to look for buyer.

it should be via open market. if you look at the trading patterns since 1st oct till today, there are huge blocks 1000 shares dumped and queeue. today, more than 15k lots are selling at q.

words in the company the tan sri is predicting a bumpy years ahead. order been given to tightens credit and rush out to complete b4the doomsday. Also staying away from leveraged project. He may not have another GIC to bails him out this time if he hits a rock

Next support is 2.70. Dont be too optimistic, anything can happen.

1. Cmmt is capital mall trust. A reit listed in Malaysia.
2. Since when GIC is a rescue fund for Sunway. Sunway that influential in the eyes of lee shien loong?
3. If you really know what the chairman of sunway playing, you will not be here, like me, typing and doing my own research.

Sunway Bhd saw 60 million of its shares traded off-market at RM2.90 each on Friday.
Stock market data showed the shares accounted for a 3.48% stake, based on the company’s paid-up of 1.723 billion shares.......Done.
Since they have bought 60 million share at off-market at 2.90, that means they will not sell below 2.95 just to break-even.....so the next target should be 3.00......??

i dun think so. offmarket transactions can have many reasons. it may mean a technical transfer within certain people or group and shouldnt be read as market positive or negative

GIC Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund sell 3.5% to CMMT.
Someone told me CMMT is under Temasek Singapore. It is like son sell shares to parent at a lower price.
Right hand to left hand.....still Singapore no change.

Neohts, not really....in fact GIC also trim down CMMT. Better wait for the announcement.....shouldnt be a problem of who is the new holder....afterall Sunway is still doing ok.
