He was dealing outside the Closed Period. Proper announcement made to Bursa. Supposed internal process has been done i.e. notification to Chairman to deal with securities outside Closed Period. He is not in the Audit Committee. The onus is on you to prove he had done the dealing illegaly

Bull shit ….saying that company has 18b of contracts! No body would want to deal with this sort of organisation …unfortunate and very bad role model for Malaysia …in all departments they have let investment community down! With lots of insider dealing, Private placements galore MoU with questionable entities disposing large number of share in the open market …very surprised the regulators were not on the ball earlier …..So what will happen, go private , wind down or get some one to acquire them. If reports confirms misreporting which is serious then the management should be barred from holding high office. Then there is the question of legal action perhaps by KPMG to defend their reputation. All very sad, we have very strange people here promoting all,kind of things…the funniest being this battleship crap …pretends to be women! All shameful folks

See so many cheap skate now trying to come in BUT unfortunately, it is little late now!!
When the positive SIR is out, All the IB will start pumping and serba guest of honour EPF will start to accumulate to their previous 7-8 % stake again!!
Chances of you getting 30ish will never happen!! It will open at around 40ish and maybe even limit up on the day!!

Main reason the withdrawal of EPF to non subtantial holder is because of this scandal!!
Do you think they will come in again once this scandal is resolved and innocent is proven ??

PETALING JAYA: Despite the suspension of trading of Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd on Bursa Malaysia, CEO Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah acquired one million shares or 0.03% stake in the company yesterday.

Karim had already sold some of his warrants earlier this month before disposing the remaining 55.9 million warrants yesterday and subsequently used the proceeds to acquire mother shares in Serba Dinamik.

Karim said the disposal was purely a business decision, as the company has a full order book and many plans for the future.

The transaction price is not known but it has increased Karim’s stake in the company to 21.225%.

The announcement on the transaction followed a statement from Bursa Malaysia yesterday that it would be suspending Serba Dinamik’s trading from 2.30pm until further notice.

“The suspension is effected pursuant to paragraph 16.02(1)(c) of the Main Market Listing Requirements in the interest of maintaining an orderly and fair market in the trading of Serba Dinamik’s securities. Accordingly, all structured warrants relating to Serba Dinamik will also be suspended at the same time,” Bursa Malaysia said.

It also issued an order for Serba Dinamik to reveal findings of the special independent review by Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn Bhd (EY) which was meant to address auditing issues flagged by its former external auditor KPMG Ltd.

The deadline for this has currently been set for Oct 26.


Meanwhile, one of Serba Dinamik’s newly-elected independent non-executive directors Johan Mohamed Ishak said the company’s priorities have been revised and right now, the welfare of stakeholders and employees must be looked after.

“Directors, independent ED’s and the audit committee need to be dynamic in looking into this, as well as other aspects of the firm. The ongoing business of the company has more importance than the audit issues themselves,” he said.

He added that Serba Dinamik has been actively securing contracts.

The company announced in August that through its Malaysian and Indonesian subsidiaries, it had secured 15 operations and maintenance (O&M), engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) contracts.

It also had secured a contract from Hydro Village Private Ltd for a hydropower project in Nepal as well as seven other local contracts that have not been disclosed yet, amounting to over RM286.3 million.

“We have also bagged an EPCC contract via our wholly-owned subsidiary, Serba Dinamik International Ltd, involving the 57.3-megawatt (MW) Myagdi Khola Hydropower project in Nepal’s Gandaki Province, alongside other contracts from Gas Malaysia Distribution Sdn Bhd,” the company said.

While the auditing issues may have slowed down its business this year, Serba Dinamik has certainly not taken it lying down and is determined to get things back on track to greater success.

Now that this part of the SIR saga is over, lets focus on the next issue of

"Should SD consider KPMG's proposal to settle the legal action undertaken by SD?"

What would you advise SD to do?

a) Proceed with the claim of RM4billion + through the courts
b) Enter into discussions for a financial settlement favourable to SD
c) Give a KPMG a slap in the wrist and let bygones be bygones.

You can assume that the results of the SIR has no impact on the previous QRs and the upcoming AR.

The stock is suspended until the SIR is published. Whatever talking here is useless. IBs will dictate the fate of SD upon trading. Sweet talks or doom talks all meaningless now. Can't do anything from now on. Your fate is decided by the IBs !!

SIR made known to independent directors on 21/10 and SD's price did not go up but down before it was suspended !!

Positive SIR which led to settlement fee from KPM5 and the amount will be subtantial enough to settle serba debt and sukuk issuance!!

Regain trust from IB and EPF in which IB to purchase back that few percents holding while EPF to increase to 7-8% stake hold.

Target Price revision to RM2ish from all the IB report which will attract retailers interest again.

Customer and stakeholder to regain confidence on the company !!

Look like the road to RM1.60ish before the scandal will come really really fast for Serba

If Karim willing to release SIR on monday, than Bursar may unsuspend the counter, since nobody can sell untill SIR release.

But I believe it is short term if new auditor not able to release annual report by Friday. Than may suspend again. Lol
