"Should SD consider KPMG's proposal to settle the legal action undertaken by SD?"

What would you advise SD to do?

a) Proceed with the claim of RM4billion + through the courts

b) Enter into discussions for a financial settlement favourable to SD

c) Give a KPMG a slap in the wrist and let bygones be bygones.

You can assume that the results of the SIR has no impact on the previous QRs and the upcoming AR.

Edward. Ceo buy share is very normal. Maybe.. i say maybe only : Maybe he knw margin coming. So buy bck share to pledge bck as margin for collectaral. There is no truth n only my opinion.

If not mistaken, before a director buy shares, he need to give notice to bursa stated his intention to deal his shares.
So it could be the reason triggered suspension after he bought shares. I dont know, just my guess.
(insider trading is a serious offence perhaps)

If K bought 1m shares, it is still free....(and he still keeps much of the selling).

Idk you, unless u also buy SD with free money, then ok la.

If CL later, still no loss, just not much gain.

The miss interpretation is " KPMG has to settle with SB and paid some sweetener " But the
truth is KPMG has asked SB to Pay KPMG's Lawyer fees and Court expenses as a settlement.....
Reason: SIR is heavily in KPMG favour and BURSA has issued a warning to SB

If I am not mistaken, KPMG is not a foreigner. It is a partnership of local principals depending on which country they are operating in. When they get sued all partners a liable for a share of the damage, not like a company.

Insider trading roughly means some people got inside news of a listed company first & then buy or sell shares just before announcing the news in bursa to the public. Insider trading is criminal act

Goreng shares roughly means an individual or a group of individuals, use own funds or borrowed funds to keep buying shares at much higher prices over a short period of time…. before selling to naive investors who buy at higher prices ….Got any laws to prevent goreng here meh?

True..KPMG is a partner but when said " 4 bil Claims " ...you can petition case to be hear in UK
or EU....If Claim just 4mil....close eye SB can pay KPMG ( haha....KPMG has won the case bcos

INSIDER TRADING :Fine not less than RM 1mil and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years.Insider trading is very serious offence,still remember sxxxmax,charged with fined RM5mil and 5 years jail but finally acquitted.

It's there and individuals including Directors have been charged, but I don't recall any individual bieng convicted and force to paid fine or jail sentence. This is Malaysia, anything is possible if you are willimg to compromise. With the $ figures floating around on these charges, anything is possible. Malaysia Boleh!

when you know the price have no chance of going up but down and the warrant will lose substantial value. that's when you sell them and get the best price out of warrant.

Both Bursa and Karim got the SIR report( updated) on 30 Sept...After 21 days Bursa had to "called
Directors" to force them to made a announcement....Warrant was Sold next day......DonT you
see something very funny......21 days wait to make a " Good announcement"

@gemfiner must be a wealth investor.
When people promote, he agree. But he cannot accept people demote a counter after promoted previously. Meaning his strategy is can promote, cannot demote. Once promote, cannot change direction. Must be loyalty forever. If you sell or demote a counter, he will fire on you.
With that, I think he is a very loyal and long term investor. He must have a lot of stocks on hand because once bought never sell.
I salute this type of people. I'm just a normal person, I will change or demote if the counter has fundamental impact or even potential impact.
We need more long term investor like Gemfinder in KLCI.
