Such a move can put these people off the hook and walk free from responsibility for what they have committed during their directorship.

They should be charged for breach of directors' fiduciary duties

The imposition of compound for falsifying accounts in such a material significant scale in PLC is preposterous. Their intention to cheat is established and the adequacy of evidenve is substantiated.

These people should be put on a fair trial and be fully responsible for their fradulent action.

They have failed to discharge their fiduciary duties as directors of PLC

To be barred from being a Company Director of any company means they will not be able to collect their fees from any company to pay for their $3m compound each. At the moment some of these Directors are collecting over $4m+

Put it another perspective , perhaps it is the intention of SC to impose fines through AGC to avoid the lengthy court case and move on with the lifting of suspension for the investors to salvage even though the share is worth a penny.....

Imposing the compound/fine is already demonstration of wrong doings already perpetrated.

The quantum of the maximum fine ( RM 3 M) is the reflection of the seriousness of the perpetration.

The truth has been unfolded as a result of the compound/fine

Hence, releasing FFU or not is futile and secondary by now.

I am surprised nobody organized a protest in front of Serba Dinamik. If you guys want your money back, go protest, the bigger it is, her harder it is for authorities to ignore.

Sadly, nobody wants to be the leader.

From the start, the Serba Telegram group already pro karim, whatever truth are buried by those who controlled the telegram group. i remember a fat malay chap, i think the admin or maybe not share photos of him with rosland and also karim, say how karim is innocent and everything BAU, and kept on blaming DAP and how chinese out to get Serba....

alll the BS. blame kpmg say the auditor is chinese lah... remmeber, EY's FFU auditor is a Malay that came to the same conclusion. SC and Bursa also malay controlled, so to say got race issue is pure bs.

guilty people when cornered will try to use race and religion to defend their wrong doings.

Someone go organize a protest.... if nobody wants to, then just keep quiet and accept the losses.

First, Karim said he didn't do anything wrong. He said he has been doing the same thing all the years.
Then he said someone was attacking him and trying to bring him and his company down and he will fight hard to defend the company he built with sweat and tears.
He blames everybody except himself but he brought his own downfall and the downfall of SD and together with that all his trusting investors and ppl who said they trusted him.
There is only 1 place for this smart PHd holder - jail - but unfortunately, the AGC thought otherwise. Shareholders would rather see the perpetrators jailed than their shares go up and that too, is only for those still living in a state of denial. But then, with Chef Karim, we never know - SD could hit limit up. Btw, he makes a good adviser in the academy of book cooking.

Options for small investors:

1. Civil suits against Serba & Serba’s individuals
2. Seek financial compensation from capital market compensation fund. Make financial claims against brokers research units that promote Serba’s shares
3. Get the dysfunctional MSWG to act on small investors behalf to claim damages from Serba and individuals concerned
4. Get SC to file civil suits against them

For some bad people, going to jail may mean protection from govt (ie prison authorities) from potential bodily harm by people outside. Jail or not, God can still punish us, if you believe in karma. AGC or PM can abuse their powers or otherwise. Better we focus on our own problems or own priorities first. Karim is a kind person, he knows going to prison means the gov will have to pay for his food, he try to save the gov some money, and decided donating a few millions is the best option.

As for the stock price, he did this on purpose so that investor can buy serba stock for a very very very super cheap price. Serba will be a space company in the future, he wants retail investor to have this once in a lifetime opportunity to collect it on the cheap.

As for buying a Rolls Royce, this is for the safety of the road user. RR comes with many safety features and by owning the safest car on the road, many unwanted accident and death can be prevented, thus Karim indirectly saved many lives.

He is doing this for the retailers, for Malaysia, for everyone. Karim is a national hero, national icon.
